AOA- I have two questions to know the answers( I am Pakistani citizen and Canadian Citizen) I am overseas Pakistani since 1980.
1-I have Defense Saving certificates to sale matured ones, in Pakistan to bring money back to Canada. These certificates were purchased in 1990(but exactly not sure the year) at that time I was working in middle east.
2-I have one plot in Pakistan in Islamabad and want to sale it and want to bring money back to Canada. This plot was also I bought in 1990(but exactly year not known)
Question-Do you think I should become tax filer or not???? I don't have any bank account or any other property or anything else in Pakistan, other than these items, defense certificates and a plot.

What about those pakistanis who loot public money. Only all pakistanis have to give give and give only with no guarantee from govt for safety and security from govt. You will get kidnapped right in front of ur house and forget about any help from any law enforcement agency except by spending more and more money. Just two years ago in Defence phase 6 , where i was working , a person bought his new SUV ( Porsche) and it was snatched right in front of his house. And it was recovered from Landi Kotal after crossing all the checkposts, how it was not impounded by security staff of police ? It was all in news that time. A police party from punjab went to Landi kotal and brought that vehicle to Lahore and very honestly handed over to its owner. Don't mention how much amount any Haji sb heading that gang of car chors received and how much was paid to police ? Let it remain a secret otherwise you will be declared as anti pakistan and anti pakhtoon. That is the reason govt imposes heavy taxes to make you and your property very unsafe.
