The 6 cyl is a great engine for feeling warmed up as soon as you start it, it's great though to see a temp guage! Let me know how quickly our engine does actually warm up.

I have 2011 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD 3.0 automatic. I purchased tft out of 2014 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD 3.0 automatic. I plug it in and nothing happens. What now? Do I need cem software update?
Very nice looking TFT. Not sure about the module installation and wire soldering. Looks like there might be a few occasional glitches. Suggest you show soldering just one of the wires.

I very much recommend disconnecting the battery before you remove the gauge cluster (or the steering wheel). On many cars removing the cluster (or the wheel) results in the SRS/Airbag unit recording a fault code that you may not be able to erase yourself.
If I change into the old speedometer. It will read the km and it will be update. The problem is that in Spain we have to pass a technical inspection every year and this modification is not allowed. So many people mount and umount the panels every year for the inspection

Have you checked whether adding an adapter spoils any further communication with VIDA or not? Police cars, ambulances and lpg converted vehicles often need the 3rd party oBd adapters to be disconnected, so that VIDA can communicate with the vehicle properly and a new SW can be pushed onto the car... otherwise, it works, kind of until a subsequent full SW recovery might be needed
volvosweden , a typical warning sign would be if it takes vida a few attempts to read the car config reliably, even if this happens only occasionally. Some other symptoms extend to CEM readout and access failures after DTCs have been read. If any of the above symptoms are present, please be careful. Disconnecting the 3rd party oBd adapters fix the problem.

+J A S P E R true. Can not turn off DSTC with the upgrafe. You have to connect the old cluster to do that. That is why I will extend the factory connector to the floor below.

The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power remaining in the current gear. The larger, lower indicator shows the amount of engine power that has been utilized (depending on rpm). The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power that is being utilized. The larger the gap between the two indicators, the greater the amount of power remaining.

in 2:12 the milleage is 63854 , the T1 is 130.8 and the time 16:20... after the installation in 4:45 the milleage is 63839 , the T1 is 9.6 and the time 16:30... what happened???? and also... what exactly is "power scale".... i don't undertand.. sorry if i missing something.....
Power scale shows how much power the engine is making, so when you press the gas the power meter will go up. The newer Volvo’s have this but it’s just a neat toy.

I looked on there Facebook page and it looks like 500 euros for the TFT panel and another 450 for the control unit :O that makes 950 too much for me :(

Patrick Kengla In eco mode the scale on the left encourages you to get best economy by rewarding you with an ‘e’ when you have been driving like a saint. In the video far from ‘not working’ the eco scale needle was having a fit with the ‘e’ persistently flicking on and off. That would drive me to distraction. Factory TFT is really nice to use but can’t see the point in the retrofit unless it has full functionality. I would recommend a TFT upgrade from new; I think it was about £300 on my XC 60 back in 2016

Nothing special on the wiring. I could cut and reconnect instead of soldering.

I haven't had any problems reading the car (except the DIM for obvious reasons). Haven't tested loading software, but I'd guess that works as well.

volvosweden it does make sense. Will it be a video? On the SWEDESPEED forum they explain how eco power can work. Maybe not for the XC70? Only S60 V60?
(Correction, on the V60/S60 the ECO PWR is not working either, my mistake!)

In the newest tft display the elegance mode is blue does vesper volvo sell only these 2013 tft displays or do they sell also the new ones?

Email vespervolvo@gmail.com your VIN number and tell them that you already have a used TFT panel. They will tell you how much for the adapter.

Did you try without the adapter cable ? I did and nothings on. Only fuel and shifter on. But shifter off after few seconds

The discrepancy presumably is caused by the mileage coming from different ecu, since it uses custom connector linked to OBD2.

You can not switch. But the cluster will display depending on the region you are in.

But you need clusters to MY2014. Newer are not working. I have s60 my2013 and tft cluster from 2014 works without this box luckily :)
