- I have upgraded to 2014 Volvo TFT cluster from a firm called VESPER VOLVO.
Will fit the following P3 Volvos 2006-2013 S60 V60 XC60 S80 V70 XC70.

Email vespervolvo@gmail.com your VIN number and tell them that you already have a used TFT panel. They will tell you how much for the adapter.

Did you try without the adapter cable ? I did and nothings on. Only fuel and shifter on. But shifter off after few seconds

i have it in my v60. but the fuelgage is backwards.
Is it just the module I buy from Vesper Volvo or is it the entire TFT too or can I buy the TFT from a local junkyard? I have a 2008 V70, can I buy any TFT or do I need a specific year or model?

At 5:12... What's a power scale? (That now it doesn't work)
The smaller, upper indicator shows the engine's available power (depending on rpm). The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power remaining in the current gear.
The larger, lower indicator shows the amount of engine power that has been utilized (depending on rpm). The higher the reading on the scale, the greater the amount of power that is being utilized.
The larger the gap between the two indicators, the greater the amount of power remaining.
And if you drive a manual? Will it work and if so, what will show in the right side?

On V70 it doesn't work unfortunately, it's just stuck in the middle position. It does have a different indicator though.

Ugly as fuck. Everytime I see these digital speedos I want to vomit. Looks so fucking ugly, boring, ect compared to an old, good analog speedo. Huge downgrade.

Robin e tror inte det. På manuella instrumentet har du längst till höger en växlingsindikator men eftersom inte power eller Eco funkar så funkar nog inte det heller. Resten funkar nog precis som i videon

What's wrong with the xenons?
Does it also display all the messages coming from the car? Like door open, maintenance messages, etc...? And could you do a video where you show the soldering part of the wires into the OBD?

+Antilaakeri The blue is just R Design software that can be ordered from them for additional $. I did not like it and that is why I don't have it.

How do you turn off DSTC? There is no visual feedback? Or is there?
+J A S P E R true. Can not turn off DSTC with the upgrafe. You have to connect the old cluster to do that. That is why I will extend the factory connector to the floor below.

+J A S P E R to be able to set time or turn off DSTC I need to connect the original cluster. I will extend the original connector to the pedals area so it will be easy to reconnect the old cluster. Now it's too short and is behind the TFT cluster. Does it make sense?
volvosweden it does make sense. Will it be a video? On the SWEDESPEED forum they explain how eco power can work. Maybe not for the XC70? Only S60 V60?
(Correction, on the V60/S60 the ECO PWR is not working either, my mistake!)
Analog looks better. If something works good, dont replace this.
Very nice looking TFT. Not sure about the module installation and wire soldering. Looks like there might be a few occasional glitches. Suggest you show soldering just one of the wires.
Nothing special on the wiring. I could cut and reconnect instead of soldering.
Yeah I'd like to see you solder/fit the wiring to the obd2 port as well. Good job well done though, nice.

The 6 cyl is a great engine for feeling warmed up as soon as you start it, it's great though to see a temp guage! Let me know how quickly our engine does actually warm up.
Volvosweden or anybody else out there ..what Volvo part # are we looking for in the used market...seems there's a few out there out of 2014..2015 S60's but the apt.guide says it won't fix. [could be because of the module that's needed for it to work in our 2011 XC 70]... so a part # would help a lot.

I looked on there Facebook page and it looks like 500 euros for the TFT panel and another 450 for the control unit :O that makes 950 too much for me :(
This is modern digital TFT madness. Only wondering when Bentley and Rolex will start to convert their craftsmanship to cheap Chinese screens and even cheaper softwear behind it.

If I change into the old speedometer. It will read the km and it will be update.
The problem is that in Spain we have to pass a technical inspection every year and this modification is not allowed. So many people mount and umount the panels every year for the inspection

transmision selector is working you just need to add 2 wires from OBD to new cluster .see swedpseed forum
На мой взгляд совершенно не подходит под теплый ламповый салон. Ищу себе XC70 обзт без такого кластера, фиолетовые круги куда больше нравятся)) А так молодец канешн. Хотя я кажется видел где-то ставили их без пайки и конверторов и не работало только отображение передач

I very much recommend disconnecting the battery before you remove the gauge cluster (or the steering wheel). On many cars removing the cluster (or the wheel) results in the SRS/Airbag unit recording a fault code that you may not be able to erase yourself.

I see there's 6 wires coming off the adapter but there are 7 wires coming from the obd2? Which wire doesn't get connected?

But you need clusters to MY2014. Newer are not working. I have s60 my2013 and tft cluster from 2014 works without this box luckily :)

in 2:12 the milleage is 63854 , the T1 is 130.8 and the time 16:20...
after the installation in 4:45 the milleage is 63839 , the T1 is 9.6 and the time 16:30...

and also... what exactly is "power scale".... i don't undertand.. sorry if i missing something.....
Power scale shows how much power the engine is making, so when you press the gas the power meter will go up. The newer Volvo’s have this but it’s just a neat toy.
The discrepancy presumably is caused by the mileage coming from different ecu, since it uses custom connector linked to OBD2.
