    I have a question. I've been soldering for a while now, I fix guitars, and the problem I'm running into is that tips of my iron are basically disintegrating. Is it because it's a cheap iron off amazon? What upgrade would you recommend? Thanks!

    I`m just asking why you don't try a ceramic tweezer. I know from my electronic cigarette that it can hold a lot of heat and you can find some so precise and fine

    Just a tip (no pun lol) - You shouldn't really call things "bent", like "this is the bent tip tweezers", instead, something like "angled tip" instead would be more appropriate, just so it doesn't imply that something is damaged when it is not. Not trying to be rude. Thanks for posting these reviews!

    • @NorthridgeFix
      @NorthridgeFix  3 роки тому +4

      Bent is the proper term used in the tweezers industry. You can also used curved or angled.

      @@NorthridgeFix My mistake. I would guess the tweezer industry is mostly asia based companies who don't necessarily speak English "correctly"

      @@Johnathan_Waters adjective: bent
      -> "sharply curved or having an angle" , just check it on Google Dictionary

      @@MohammadIrfan-qf4zg Yes, I understand. SORRY if I triggered some people here, I was just suggesting a more APPROPRIATE word to use to avoid any confusion...lol. I did NOT say it was incorrect, or "improper".

    • @thxepsilon8292
      @thxepsilon8292 2 роки тому +1

      @@Johnathan_Waters It is subtle. "Bent" insinuates that something was "done to" the tweezers, while "angled" insinuates that it was designed to be that way. But in an interlingual industrial landscape, this type of subtlety can lead to...yes..."MARKETING" (gasp).
      So maybe it's more appropriate, maybe not. Now, let's work on learning some non-English languages, eh? ;)
