I think maybe that if only 3.5% of FB users active in 2017ish (2 billion) file then ROI will be less than 10$. lol. Interesting proposition.

Is this only for users in the US? When accessed from the UK there's a message at the top that reads "If you were a Facebook user in the United States between May 24, 2007, and December 22, 2022, inclusive, you may be eligible for a cash payment from a Class Action Settlement."
Yes, it was a US lawsuit so only for US users. There would probably have had to be similar action taken in UK courts for UK users
I get nothing because I was smart enough to never sign up for Fecesbook, while all the spammers with multiple accounts get multiple payouts.
I clicked on the link and was about to fill out. From 2007 until 2016. My last name changed. And also I deactivated and activated my account several times between 2013-2020
Name change shouldn't matter as long as you still know the email/phone # tied to the account. I'd just enter in the final time you deactivated it too, let them sort it out!
My husband was personally affected by this. He was denied a renewal of his Global Entry in 2018 with no reason given and it was not until we were at a friend's house who had the same thing happen to him that we discovered they were both active on FB about their disapproval of those politicians and the party policies. Both me and my friend are foreign born spouses to Americans and we were both able to renew our Global Entry with no issues. However neither of us were very active on FB at all. Both guys were able to get their accounts re-instated in 2021 under the new administration and the delay was attributed to "administrative backlog". I seldom use FB in fact I got very uncomfortable with it early on (2005) and stopped posting or even engaging because I am a very suspicious person who does not trust something for nothing! Turns out it was not an inaccurate feeling. Yes we will be signing up pronto!
