@@chasinganadventure We arrive mid- December from NZ with our Shih Tzu dog to begin a two year lap. Our L300 has just had its suspension upgraded and is now waiting at Toyota for my husband to pick up on Monday. It is all starting to feel very real. 😁🌺
Hi, have just discovered your channel and enjoying the content, destination tips and insights, and the virtual reality holidays! We'll be visiting the Busselton/Margaret River region next year for the second time. Can we suggest visiting the French creperie cafe in the main street of Busselton as they're so good (savoury and sweet)! We had them on our last visit and it won't be our last. Owned by a young French couple who said they were touring Australia and came to Busselton and loved it, so they stayed. That was about five years ago. We plan to retire to Busso (from Brisbane) in the next couple of years. Beautiful region! Lots to see and do!
It is a jetty, not a bridge. The Jetty is a state-owned asset and as such the City of Busselton sets the entry fee, that being the $4 Day Pass. Proceeds from Day Passes go towards the repairs and maintenance of the Jetty so that future generations can enjoy! Following cyclone Alby and a fire the cost of the restoration of the Jetty which reopened in 2011 was $27 million. The cost of maintaining the Jetty is $1.35 million a year. That is why your $4 fee is gratefully accepted to enable people to enjoy the Jetty in the future. It is free after hours to enable us plebs to catch a fish 😂
Another great episode. Lots to see and do - can’t wait to get there. 😁🌺
Thanks Catherine, we really loved Busselton and the Margaret river region ❤️

Busselton was fantastic ! We will be back one day and hopefully the bakery is still there, make sure you visit the swings and roundabouts winery !
@@chasinganadventure Yes, that looked like a fun place! 😊
Loved the video $4 to walk on the bridge though that is a little silly to be honest
We didn’t understand the $4.00 especially when you could on it for free after hours 😂
