Very nostalgic moment for me to see this film I made more than 50 years ago. David Sovereign the voice had been a classmate at Maplehurst School😂My wife Caro;l Anne sang the solo behind the church scene and John Reynolds’s did a wonderful job writing the script. I shot it with a 16 mm Bolex and edited in my home studio. The water turbines were a passion and today our family business is manufacturing them for the world market inn Ontario and :Poland.
My Great Grand Father Freeman G. Bray of Bronte worked on the Hamilton Oakville line of the HRER around the time of WWI. I have a photo of him along with my Great Grand Mother and another gentlemen standing in front of one of the Radial Trains. I think it was taken where Bronte Road and Rebecca Street are now.
My home town. Lived here for 50 years next month.
