Damn I had the same car in 1975 ! Limelight green 400. Mine was turbo 400 auto. I was 21 and proceeded to get many a ticket with that car. Love it. Maybe someday I can get another. Very cool thanks !
Oh man I wish I would have kept so many of my old cars that I had. I actually got 3 tickets in one day one time, lol. Hoping you get another one soon! 😎
Beautiful GOAT!! I had a 69 in the late 70's (my first car) that was Antique Gold and Gold interior that also had AC, Power Windows, Rear Defroster, AM/FM radio and was a 4 speed... It was my first love that I planned to keep forever, but someone ruined my dream by stealing it on 12/28/79 and it was never found. I still wonder to this day who took it and whatever happened to it.. It took me over 40 years but I bought a 70 GTO last year to replace it. Congrats to you for keeping your beauty!
Nothing like getting a free assassination device with every purchase of a car back then. I can't count how many times those damn bumper jacks tried killing me, even if their sitting on flat, level hard surface! Super nice Goat and documentation...have FUN and ENJOY her! I've gotta go see my shink now.....THE BUMPER JACK....AAAHHHHH !!
I would love to see this car. I have never seen an original unmolested (body and paint) GTO. I was just curious about how the body panels aligned, must’ve been a little off on a mass produced car and I’m not ripping on it. I’m restoring a 69 convertible and yes, the body panels are off. I’m making it better than factory.
@@marc196050 yes, this is a awesome car. And yes you are correct, gaps are not perfect, as none were from the factory. Most of us make them better than factory when we restore them. We’d love to see some pics of yours when you’re done! 😎
I'm not sure what number I was in the lineage of owners, maybe #4. I owned it from 1993-1996. I took this video about 1995, and my nephew adapted the video for youtube several years after that. Video quality has come a long way since 1995. ua-cam.com/video/pRXs97-05PU/v-deo.html
Congrats on your piece of history! We bought a brand new silver '69 RA III automatic. It's long gone now. Favorite car ever.
