From the production standpoint, I am not 100% happy with this one. However, I hope the information was still helpful for you. Since the table arrived quite late, and my camera man and co-editor had to go into quarantine for two weeks until Dec 1st, we are really lagging behind with the production of the videos. I recorded the second part of the video this night, to at least give you a bit more information. I really like tomorrows video, however!
Dude. Don't stress. There's so much great information inside of these videos. High quality production with high quality content inside as well. You can easily tell how much work goes into these videos. You never need to apologize to us or explain your actions. If you never posted this comment, I would have never known. Take care and be safe friend
we know you are a perfectionist, and we love your videos also because of this, but for the same reason you shouldn't worry at all about production quality details, as what is not a perfect video for you it's still a great video... you are always the best for many of us ;)
this is probably the most important shot to know for strategy in any game of pool. thanks sharivari for this series, its super useful and imformative! you can never know too much.
This is just incredible, I love it. Being able to recognise two way shots is one of the most underrated skills in pool, you explained how to go about them perfectly😍👌
I liked seeing your approach at 4:00 on the second exercise where you approached the ball as a kick shot versus a bank shot in order to stun/stop the cue ball from going further up table. That idea would likely have escaped me. Thanks Sharivari!
I’ll be watching tomorrow, 8 ball is the game I play in league. Another shot I can’t believe I’ve never thought of was elevating the cue a bit to avoid the side pocket scratch on that shot to the corner. I know I’ve been in that situation lots.
First off, still loving your videos keep up the awesome work man Your bonus video, I did not expect you to slam the back of the pocket like that, that's quite clever actually, I usually go rail first with english depending on angle And I'm glad you brought up 2 way shots, even when playing 8 ball to me an ideal shot is both advantageous to yourself and a disadvantage to your opponent. Breaking out, making a ball, getting a leave on your next shot or having more options to shot at than your opponent. Or simply tying up their balls, getting them snookered or forcing them into making a shot that either breaks out your ball for you or makes one your balls. If you can keep the mentality of a chess game the strategies are endless
The first couple of shots you made were very creative. I love watching your thinking skills about 'safety' shots. How about this to think about for a future series: Put yourself in some of those safe shots, then come up with a solution for getting out of them! NO jump cues allowed! Use the angles. I see a lot of videos online about 'making' safe shots but have never seen many on how to come out of them.
The lights under my desk were flickering, so I had to put an image over on top of the video file. That's why in this area my cue dissapears below the image.
@@Sharivari the light flickering issue must be due to PAL and NTSC You live in germany you should record in 25fps and 1/50 shutter speed, it's a matter of the light's refresh rate
I noticed too hence I came to comments lol again at 8:00 and 8:42 also lol all n all though, great series bro, been watching channel for almost a year now
I've been practicing the concepts on Mobile simulator, which I've registered for ShooterPool on PC. MiniClip 8 Ball for fun, which really isn't that realistic, but the physics are similar.
In the 10ball matches I’ve played you either call shot or safe. If you call a pocket and miss the opponent can pass the shot back to you. In this video you show a 2way shot but that wouldn’t really apply if the opponent can pass the shot back.
Haha thats the kind of shot I learned to use since I was 66 (71 now) when I first begin to play pool with my friends who were playing for more than 50 years. They think I am lucky because they don't have a good play after I miss my shots not knowing that I always think where the cue ball will end up if I miss a medium risky shot.
I didn't realize that 10 ball was fully called shots. I thought it was very similar in regards to 9 ball. I understand that sometimes calling for a shot and also possibly making a safety.
Hey Andre I noticed something strange at 7:05 where your stick disappears. I'm going to guess this is an editing glitch or trouble with a green screen?
The lights under my desk were flickering, so I had to put an image over on top of the video file. That's why in this area my cue dissapears below the image.

I thought in ten ball if you call a ball and dont make it and hook incoming player they have the option to give it back.Otherwise its call pocket 9 ball.
Am surprised that you are wearing shoes in your flat. Is this a billiards requirement, to wear shoes while playing? Or is it because your non-carpeted floor might be slippery in socks? Just curious. Thanks for the great content you are putting out. My game has improved just by watching several of your videos.
It's because the floor is slippery in socks, and it just looks a bit unprofessional just wearing socks in the videos imho. But I bought those shoes just for using it in the house.
@@Sharivari Ah, that makes sense! Mr. Professional. Many Americans don't grasp that most of the world doesn't wear their shoes in their house! Just another fun thing I learned when I immigrated here. Take care, looking forward to more of your professional instruction.
It would be nice if you could use normal-colored balls because those Predator balls are really hard to tell apart on the screen, especially the striped balls.

Found this channel yesterday. Played this game for about 4 years. Learned more about pool in 24h than in last 2 years. Awesome job man

I've recently been learning pull and now can see that the game is not just simply hitting the balls in. I love what your teaching here. Yhanks so much
love the bonus shots to show what can be done if you know what you're doing

Hey Andre I noticed something strange at 7:05 where your stick disappears. I'm going to guess this is an editing glitch or trouble with a green screen?
I had the problem, that the LED lights behind my desk were flickering. So I put a still image over it. That's why my cue disappeared behind the image.
Cool
7:08 the cue pulls a hudini disappearing act
The lights under my desk were flickering, so I had to put an image over on top of the video file. That's why in this area my cue dissapears below the image.
Cool beans
5 29 where did the cue shaft go?

At 5:24 am I trippin or did his shaft completely disappear? I’m 100% sober.
5:27 the cue disappear.....
The lights under my desk were flickering, so I had to put an image over on top of the video file. That's why in this area my cue dissapears below the image.
5:26 why does the Cue disappear?
Because the background light was flickering, so I pur a still Image over the video.
I thought in ten ball if you call a ball and dont make it and hook incoming player they have the option to give it back.Otherwise its call pocket 9 ball.
Not in general, this is just a special rule called "call safety".
Your English is much better. Of course I can’t speak German

Interesting how alot of people call "no call" for shots in tourneys.

I alread contacted my sponsor, will be using a normal colored ball set soon. By the way, it's not Predator but Aramith Black.
@@Sharivari the purple 5 ball is also confusing, as many people like me are used to seeing the purple ball being the 4 ball
Wonder what he was hiding at that desk in the back. O.o
My underwear. Jk, the blue lights were flickering.
Why does your cue dissapear?
Because the lights where flickering in the background, so I had to put an image over it to stop it. That's why my cue dissapeares in that area.
look at the cue at 5:28 wtf
I'd prefer if you use conventional balls the colors are distracting. Nice series though.
Already ordered the regular set again!
@@Sharivari I'm glad to hear that. Not every innovation makes sense, especially on blue cloth
Should play the shot little more harder
