+John Yang If you let me choose between Taiwanese vendor food and McDonald's or Kentucky Fried Chicken, I would choose Taiwanese anytime. Not only does it taste good but traditional Taiwanese vendors use real ingredients food, unlike American fast food (many use chemical combinations). There are only a few real food ingredients in the Chicken McNugget, most are synthetic chemicals. I grew up with these vendor foods and never had a health problem.
Jean Chen Taiwanese food is actually my favorite cuisine in the world. Because I was born in Taiwan grew up in U.S. I am probably a lot older than you. I am 44. I still remember 35 to 40 years ago in Taiwan. Back then, even the vendors hardly washed their dishes, they would rinsed them without using detergent, and then turn around and serve the next customers. Taiwan has improved a lot over the past 3 decades.
+John Yang Lol! You guess wrong, I am 15 years older than you. Although I have live in US for 35 years, those Taiwanese food still deeply imprint into my memory. I agreed with hygiene part, but believe or not my immune system is much better compare to my white boy husband who grew up with American fast food. Even though the hygiene in Taiwan has improved but they face another hazard. Back my time they made everything from scratch, they would made their own lard but now most of them buy from factory made and those greedy bastard use filthy oil to mix in and sale to the vendors all over in TW, What a shame!

大鍋菜就是這樣,肯定沒辦法像家庭烹飪那樣萬事注意。要健康只能在家吃。

台湾的小吃要比大陆的东西保险多了 还没听说出问题过,我在美国就听说大陆东西掺假,对身体非常不利,甚至餐馆级都常有问题 真可怕,最近还看到大陆新闻说卡车里查到陈年屍肉要卖给餐馆和小摊用,我要吐了。

台灣的小吃也不安全了,沒看到新聞報導小吃攤很多都買到摻了地溝油的豬油。以前的小吃攤都是自己炸的豬油現在為圖方便都買工廠製造的,而那些不肖工廠卻用汚穢的油摻入。台灣的食安非常糟已經快不輸給中國大陸了。假醬油,毒澱粉....
