Great to see a move away from old fashioned and dated interiors. This looks fresh, bright and comfortable without being crass or overstated. Nice.
It really is a beautiful ship. Are you planning to sail on her soon?
Fabulous video, fabulous ship! Can’t wait to see more videos and also cruising on her in the future.
Thanks for sharing, throughly enjoyed the tour around.
Thank you for watching, Anne ! - More to come as I do a deeper dive into different parts of the ship.
Looks beautiful 😊
A great video Steph!
Thank you!! x
A brilliant, professional video 👍 really interesting to see all of the venues. Looking forward to learning more about this ship, can’t wait for the next video.
Thank you so much Laura! Slowly working through the rest of the content.
Thanks for another superb video Steph 🤩 Arvia looks absolutely stunning (especially when she's been filmed to such a professional standard 😀👏).
It's great to see how Arvia stands apart from her sister Iona - obviously there are similarities as they are the same class ship, but P&O's newest vessels definitely have their own style and character 😊
We cannot wait to watch more of your Arvia content!
Thank you so much. i'm hoping the 4k footage will help her shine even more when i get a chance to edit it. The new ships really feel fresh and modern but without being cold and overbearing.
New subscriber here. Great video, we can't wait to sail P&O Cruises. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome aboard! Thank you for subscribing - and for the lovely comments - when are you next sailing with P&O?
I went on the Arvia in January. Travelled from Southampton to the Caribbean. It's truly a wonderful ship and glad I had the additional time to explore the ship. This video just reminded me of my stay. Thanks
Great to hear! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
Another fabulous video! 🤩 We can’t wait to sail on her. We’re really looking forward to all of the dining options 🐷😀
Coming soon! i'm slowly working through the tour of the restaurants on board.
@@CruiseWithAmber We can’t wait for that!
I got to the end! Thanks for everything. We enjoyed Iona to the Fjords, I’m sure you will. We’re on Arvia in April too! Thanks especially for the tips re Rotterdam. We have an overnight there in September. Only ever boarded a ship there (NCL Breakaway). Highseasescapades
Have fun! Iona is lovely in the Fjords. Are you going to try any of the speciality restaurants? I’m in the process of putting together a longer video about Rotterdam so hopefully that should be up in time before you sail.
@@CruiseWithAmber hopefully i can get sindhu booked for Patrick’s birthday and will do epicurean and intrigued with the new veggie one
@@peteukmcr1 i finally got around to uploading it - here - would recommend. ua-cam.com/video/nCTbPl4aaFQ/v-deo.html
We go on this ship in October first time sailing nice to see the ship we will be on.cheers
you're welcome - enjoy your cruise in October! - let me know if you have any questions. I've got a few more Arvia videos coming up over the next few weeks. Which i'm adding to the current playlist. ua-cam.com/play/PLdOqzjYfw5vdc14xEGBZ9yEezgs-PurQX.html
Looks amazing! We fly in 4 weeks time and cannot wait to board in Barbados 🏝
Have fun! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time. What are you looking forward to the most on board?
Everything! We have been on Britannia before but Arvia looks another level. More restaurants and different layout, it will be fun to explore the ship. Also visiting some new islands which again is exciting. We love the whole cruising experience ❤️
My husband working this ship 🛳 miss you mama
Can't wait to see her for real in Barbados :-)
how long do you have to wait? I bet you're excited.
Loved the opening straight into the atrium!
Amber Lounge…. Wonder who that is named for 😜
Glass house near the aft window looks quite nice, as does keel & cow.
With just about no one around, it looks like you got up rather early for those great shots.
Lots places to eat on Arvia 😋
After eating at some of those places, I will not be on that higg altitude jungle ropes course, though!
I’ve heard our mutual friends talk about the new dome design v Iona’s ; this one looks lovely, you might be influencing a decision to try this ship :)
Excellent pairing of music to scenery!
Great tour, Steph!
Having a bar named after me - a dream come true :-) thanks for all the lovely feedback Bob - glad you enjoyed the video.
Looks brill we are going on this ship in July and are really excited 😊
you're going to love her - she's a gorgeous ship. have a great cruise!
@@CruiseWithAmber thanks 😊
@@The13th. are you going on the 23rd of July ? From Southampton that’s when I’m going
@@King-xv3hq yes 👍 see you there 😊😊
@@The13th. no way see you there I can’t wait for it but keep remembering how long it is till then
Hello from inside Arvia.
🛳️Ahoy! How is life on board today?
@@CruiseWithAmber It's great. I wasn't prepared for it being this nice so I'm not sure how to take advantage of it.
I would definitely get up early one day to watch the sunrise from the panorama pool/bar@@sarnobat2000
check out my hints and tips video too which might help. ua-cam.com/video/IccqNtr8kKA/v-deo.htmlsi=3bojnKCv9f3_ai-C@@sarnobat2000
Funnily enough after going on other ships I thought the very same it being bland , but when your on there it’s AMAZING , we went on the IONA sister ship , and thought by the second day , it has the wow factor
what was your favourite part?
Really nice walk through, thank you! Just wondering where all the guests are, very quiet! 😂
I get up early and film at stupid o’clock in the morning 😆 - I understand not everyone want to be in a UA-cam Video
7:35 woohoo cinema...
it's great. lots of good choices on offer too.
Amber lounge.. ha ha.
Named after yours truly (well…..)
I'm going on a Carribbean one in November on the same ship, I was wondering how difficult you or any others found it getting a sunbed or getting access to the pools? Only ever been on Norwegian ones and there's no problem with that there.
I didn’t have any problems with sun-bed as we tended to stick to the balcony. But I think P&O have now I introduced a new system to keep people from hogging sunbeds and they have started to remove people’s belongings which seems to be making a difference.
@@CruiseWithAmber good to know thank you!
Good footage, but everything looks very ‘orange’ in parts. Don’t know if it was the lighting or the camera setting?
It’s one of the downsides of filming early in the morning in the winter months - I’ve got my narrated 4K version of the ship tour coming out soon which I’ll be about to do some colour correction with. I be was limited with editing functions on an iphone when I created this on ship
@@CruiseWithAmber I’ll look forward to seeing it 😊
Hi, do you know what time the shows were on in the theatre please and was there a long wait at dinner time for a table? Going with my fiancé and we usually eat around 7:30pm. Thanks x
Hi - the shows are usually on at 6:45pm and 8:30 pm and then a late show at 10:30pm . With the queues, if you like to eat at 7:30pm then i'd suggest joining the virtual queue at 6pm. Alternatively head down to the desk at the restaurant in one of the main dining rooms to join the queue there. For celebration evenings you might even want to book a table at one of the speciality restaurants to guarantee a time.
@@CruiseWithAmber perfect, thank you so much for the detailed response x
Question: I am taking the family on Arvia in July for two weeks. Is there plenty to keep the kids entertained? (Ages 8 and 11) Many thanks.
Yes, absolutely - there’s the kids clubs for starters (all free) - dip in and out as much as you want, then there’s the altitude mini golf (free) and skywalk (free) plus a splash area (free). I’d pass on Mission Control- expensive for what it is. But look at the horizon daily paper for family events throughout the day / magicians/circus skills etc (Usually held in the clubhouse) There’s also the pools (all 4 of them) - they’ll have a ball!!! Have a great cruise. Ooh - I forgot about silent disco - that’s great too. And there’s usually a pop up acrobatics/aerial display/show in the atrium)
Is drinks package worth cost on PnO Arvia ? Also speciality dining?
Yes and no. I’ve got a great video coming up this weekend which will explain all.
I was on the Arvia cruise around the med in August, absolute awful...completely overcrowded , queues for everything including toilets, could not get a restaurant booking had to ( yes you guest it ) queue. Also it was school holidays so it was packed with children running wild even in the bars at 11:30 at night....open any of the 8 x lifts and full of kids messing about.....never ever again
Hope that’s not put you off cruising - sound like you’d be more likely to enjoy one of the smaller ships in the fleet or Arvia in term time instead. Lots of lovely options out there.
Great video. As a big P&O fan. I’m not sure on the interior decor. Feels as though it’s lacking something and a bit bland
Thanks for watching. The interior decor feels much warmer on Arvia than Iona. What P&O ship is your favourite?
@@CruiseWithAmber we’ve been on Oceana, Aurora, Azura, Ventura and Britannia. Ventura and Britannia are out preferred ships
@@possetgirl I like Britannia too - not long until i'm on her again this time to the Fjords - I would have loved P&O to have built another Royal Class ship like Britannia.
Hi does anyone know on Arvia - Deck 9 conservatory mini suite mid ship. I’m trying to sort a special birthday surprise for my husband - he likes the settee near the balcony and the bed near the bathroom. I am looking at rooms from number 9532 to 9542 A big thanks to anyone that might be able to help with my question…..

Decor reminds me of a Motorway service station. Hideous. Expect that type of furniture in Fred’s cafe!!!
Please tell me where those motorway service stations are - they sound like my better quality motorway service stations I’ve ever been to.
Please tell us where you go.Must be luxury?
Wonderful video tour Steph and well done for getting uploaded so quickly. It looks stunning and I'm looking forward to our sailing in June. I'm keen to try the new dining options and the Escape room. You must have been up quite early to film an empty ship.
@@CruiseWithAmber I said it reminded me of a service station ( particularly South Mimms) but this was mainly a reference to the amount of IKEA type plastic I can see. Not too much of that on Cunard, Silversea, Azamara or even Princess.
@@stephenholland3260 your comparing the furniture to that of luxury cruise lines which charge premium rates.
