There are obvious cases: accidents, people born with some deformations. Here the plastic surgery can improve the quality of live (for example ear lobe reconstruction). But I know a few people who went through ear correction surgery, as they were insecure and did not feel well with what nature gave them one of them had psychological issues due to this. They did only this one procedure, and they felt better about their looks and themselves afterwards. So was it justified, and fall into “they needed it” category? What I strongly oppose to is undergoing a heavy body modifications which now seems like an industry. Sure it is up to the person to decide what to do with their bodies, but there should be some boundaries there. We have seen time and time again how people with many plastic surgeries aged and usually this in comparison to natural aging looked worse. If it comes to boundaries there is a reason why if we a doctor see amputee wannabe this person will not be allowed to cut of their body part but rather sent to psych eval (yes I know this is extreme case).

Watching season 4 of the Boys right now. It is kinda obvious she has done something. She went from a slightly plump and child like face to a more harsh contour face feature. Which can fit some women like Taylor Ann with her "longer" face, but the baby face aspect is, in my view, what made Erin Moriarty good looking because her face suited it and this is why some women should NOT listen to beauty tips from other women. You also have to factor in make up and different angles of photographs. We don't always look the same. Different lighting & different angles can alter how we perceive a person to look. Let's also factor in "aging" because we are all aging. Overtime our face shape does fluctuate here and there by nature too. So i would say its a mixture of minor facial enhancements, aging, and make up. She's still beautiful to me

I think if we're all looking for someone to blame it should be the plastic surgeon that did work on her, they could have easily said no or even asked again if she was sure that she wanted the changes made as these things make a significant change to your face, decisions such as those shouldn't come lightly. Erin could have possibly been going through a identity crisis/body dysmorphia at the time and wanted to look older to suit her age more, or it could have been egged on by her fans saying that her face looked fat (where you could argue they had a part to play in her changing appearance). Either way it should have been the surgeon's job to reassure her and say that there was nothing wrong. The sad reality is that Erin's now living with that decision, where it could have all been different. Though if we take it from an alternate perspective, perhaps the plastic surgery could be justified. So she might have had a skin/muscle condition that we didn't know of as the public that probably caused her discomfort and she sought to have surgey due to that. I mean we can all speculate but unless Erin comes out with the full details as to how her face has changed and whether she's had plastic surgery or not, then we shouldn't really be judging her.

Hold on now. Season 1 of The Boys started filming in summer of 2018. That's the summer Erin turned 22.
*DO NOT* pretend that starting description is a proper comparison. You're priming people to think of her in "The Boys" while showing her years before filming started. That's just wrong. The changes an average 22 year old woman undergoes over the next 3 years are usually VASTLY different than the 3 years following that when most adults are done with drastic changes.
This is valid topic (for judging appearance) and you START with a misrepresentation that is either malevolently misrepresentative or so neglectfully incorrect that it brings into judgement the rest of the video.

Of course a plastic surgeon doesn’t want people to notice their work. It precludes the entire premise of it being “natural”, which of course it’s not.
She still looks the same in my opinion. She didn't ruin her face like people claim. I can maybe tell she had some minor touch ups, but its literally minor. You also have to factor in make up and different angles of photographs. We don't always look the same. Different lighting & different angles can alter how we perceive a person to look. Let's also factor in "aging" because we are all aging. Overtime our face shape does fluctuate here and there by nature too. So i would say its a mixture of minor facial enhancements, aging, and make up. She's still beautiful to me

I think the main thing that happened is that she lost a lot of weight and when her face changed she had fillers to try and get back the plumpiness in her face

It's not that she had the surgeries, it's that she's calling the people who reported it "disgustingly false" and the "real world Vaught"... she really did look cute before... very beautiful and sweet... and i think she wanted to look sexy but now she just looks like a barbie doll... so uncanny
I think if we're all looking for someone to blame it should be the plastic surgeon that did work on her, they could have easily said no or even asked again if she was sure that she wanted the changes made as these things make a significant change to your face, decisions such as those shouldn't come lightly. Erin could have possibly been going through a identity crisis/body dysmorphia at the time and wanted to look older to suit her age more, or it could have been egged on by her fans saying that her face looked fat (where you could argue they had a part to play in her changing appearance). Either way it should have been the surgeon's job to reassure her and say that there was nothing wrong. The sad reality is that Erin's now living with that decision, where it could have all been different.
Though if we take it from an alternate perspective, perhaps the plastic surgery could be justified. So she might have had a skin/muscle condition that we didn't know of as the public that probably caused her discomfort and she sought to have surgey due to that. I mean we can all speculate but unless Erin comes out with the full details as to how her face has changed and whether she's had plastic surgery or not, then we shouldn't really be judging her.
