Monster Jam or Hot Wheels Glow Party?

Here's a taste of what the Monster Jam experience is like. And in the small arena we watched it in - Bridgeport, CT - we didn't even see flips or racing. But it was still better than the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Glow Party, which is more focused on crushing cars.
Monster Jam has more authentic competition than its Hot Wheels counterpart. And while it is a family-friendly event, more attention is given to the dirt tracks and the performance of the trucks than in the Hot Wheels event.

The way these drivers navigate and maneuver their monster trucks is amazing. And the best driver - at least at the Monster Jam event we saw - was the only woman in the field: Krysten Anderson. She drove the classic monster truck, Grave Digger.
Our son had a blast. It's a great family activity. And honestly the Hot Wheels Glow Party is fun too, but if you don't have kids, you'll probably enjoy Monster Jam better.
