lets be honest. The autocannon with flak rounds works as true Anti-Air and also has anti-armour rounds. makes airburst and eruptor obsolete in one go. lol

The airburst now has a genuinely great purpose for massive bot-clear, since it rips apart patrols and can decimate small outposts
I just wish they would make it explode on impact and not proximity, like the projectile is still exploding immediately on launch, killing me and everyone around.
It is extremely poorly designed/programmed. Nearly worthless, even if it did twice as much damage and at higher pen levels.

Yeah seriously screw this air burst. Killed me and my teammate 3 out of 4 times shooting it because it explodes in your face even with a clear shot
one word: PRACTICE
@@stoywarshockofficial9984 can't practice an unpredictable piece of gear, damn thing blows up in my face even when the space is clear, no bushes, rocks nothing, but still blows up on launch. Stop trying to excuse a badly designed weapon.
I've given this weapon so many chances post patch, and 9 times out of 10, I'd rather take nothing than the airburst.
Edit: Alright, it's pretty decent now with the latest patch. FAR less prone to blow up in your face.
Same. I really wish i could love it because the idea of it I do, but im sick of it blowing up in my face. It needs to explode on hit not proximity, and needs an option to switch the explosion from wide area to concentrated area

I hate that they called it the airburst when its the portable cluster bomb. It isnt for air at all, i prefer it that way, and the proximity detonation can be used to devestating effect, but it totally isnt anywhere near as much advertised as its true purpose

The freaking stealth buff on this thing is pretty crazy. Do wish they gave it something similar to recoilse and Autocannon. The ability to tighten or widen the spread, or being able to control when to detonate the rocket. But the unintentional buff on damage helps a lot with this current bot brigade.
Still so confusing how anyone at Sabre thought that SM2 update was a good idea. They saw what Helldivers did months after release and decided to do it after only 1 month.
Especially since you are playing as a freaking space marine. "Yes I'd like my space marine to feel like he is made of paper pls"
Some people were complaining lethal difficulty was too easy so Sabre panick buffed the game difficulty on the last option. And I think there’s way more waves now. Every section has a wave now.

Some kind of turret arty would be nice other than mortor maybe like a howitzer or Offering Multiple Launch Rocket System firepower on a wheeled chassis, the HIMARS is the newest member of the MLRS launcher family. HIMARS carries a single six-pack of GMLRS rockets or one TACMS missile on the Army's Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) 5-ton truck, and can launch the entire MLRS family of munitions.
An artillery mech would be dope with long-range guided missiles or a rocket truck/ship.

The air burst bomblets do double damage. Specifically 250->500
@@anthonyju6392 To specify, the bomblets are coded to deal frag grenade damage. So when frag grenade got buffed, the bomblets did as well.
Does it kill med armor effectively yet or just light armor? I dont play bugs,only bots so if it doesnt kill packs of things like the rocket striders its not really useful for me at least

Arrowhead desperately needs to change the assisted reload mechanic to allow the loader to pull from the shooter’s backpack. The current system makes no sense and discourages using the feature.
