No, not really. My dad introduced me to the game. Riot was the first youtube channel i watched for it and i love the story and game itself. But yeah syn is fun to watch sometime
QoL+ is a very simple mod that adds both a pull system and never ending torches/lights. Love the Wild Wild West town. Should make a Syntac Manor as the main building at the end of your street.
I've seen 2 Alpha Deathworms in my time on Scorched so far. They were about 20 feet apart. I made the executive decision that I did not feel like dying that day, and promptly flew away.
with that roof over hang those gaps are absolutely fine. as an Arizonan person who has done a of ranch work, those gaps are common to allow hot air to escape. as well as bad smells.
@@bluearcades the way arks shelter mechanic works if he made that building completely out of Adobe those gaps are irrelevant. In reality allowing the heat to vent out like that would help prevent over heating. Your statement was poorly written so didn't know to respond.
Most thoroughbred barns have one larger stable for birthing, and then yeah have a “tack room” for storage of feed, saddles, cleaning supplies, medical stuff, etc.
Gotta say, the fences in the front of the stables give off a really nice "barnyard" vibe that ties the whole thing together, looks great! (Also can't wait to see the wyvern heist next episode, maybe even get a fire wyvern to tame a phoenix at some point for fast travel)
Above the fence in the stable there is an open space. How about adding the horses name on a sign? Names like Buck, Star, Nugget, Trigger and Whiskey? Special fancy one for your horse is needed. (One full of bullet holes for Axe's would be funny-just to add to the "beef" you both have against each other-for fun)

Usually stables inside a barn do not go right up to the end of the building. There is usually an area at the ends where supplies and storage is kept (Hay, feed, equipment, manure pile, etc.). Usually one corner will have a ladder that goes up top to a second level where more hay is kept. Windows are key on the sides of the building for both air flow and natural lighting. Usually the upper level has a huge door opening on one end for loading large hay bales through it. Plus it would give you more natural lighting. The coolest thing about old big barns is the wooden beams.
You might could do some trickery using the quarter walls to place a thatch foundation, or maybe a slope wall & roof sunk below the floor to the height of a half wall to look like a mound of hay.
syntac u should place adobe ceilings or maybe even lower the foundations all to the ground so then u can get a pathway thats around grond level, so its like thats the road of the town thats flatten by constant walking over and carts going thru
If you do manage to get Ovis breeding you could use that stable. Other small tames could be bred there as well. So technically a building might not be your base but since you spend so much time building cool stuff you may as well make use of what you can
Commented on the last video about wanting to get a mutation on a blue raptor, and i got it. First ever mutation, and it was a green mutation on the blue. It looked sick, but alas, i was playing Ark and it died. Not before i bred the hell out of him, so i kept the color. So i thank you, Syntac for teaching me about some of the mechanics in the game
Other than the stupid roof scaffolding details, which look entirely out of place, unnecessary and not aesthetically good, the stables build is great. Really cool interior.
The alpha glow on asa only apears when you get close to the alpha, idk why but it might be for performance or to surprise us more cause befor we could see an alpha death worm miles away. Loved the video as always btw
there is a mod that is only western decor. it has everything a western town would ever need including haybales, jail items, and additional storage options to fit the theme
Aaron Longstaff just put out a western deco mod that is just decor. It has some really good things that might work for your town. It includes hay bales and bits and pieces for a railway station. You should check it out.
I know you aren't really adding mods to this server, but another UA-camr has just recently done a western decor mod that would work great with your stable and whole town. He has a lot of stuff, including hay bales and an old west bathtub. It might be something to have a look at in single player or something to see if it's something your guys might consider?
U can find a Phoenix by using a Parasaur while their underground, so u can build a trap over it when they come out during the super heat storm and then tame one for urself.
IMHO It’s an end game tame. He wants to wait to make it interesting and harder to play for himself and for his audience. He will probably do the Wyvern trench when the entire Sossage party agrees they’re ready.
@@jonsolo32 I agree that wyverns are late game but honestly a lot of engrams and other things with progression are really jank and don’t make sense. Like the turtle saddle needs cementing paste but you unlock cementing paste the exact next level. Meanwhile on the higher end, magmasaurs I would argue are much more mid game than other egg steal tames, and with a decent bloodstalker it’s not hard at all to get one. But the saddle is after nearly all the industrial structures, importantly the forge, magmasaurs can smelt metal a bit faster than a normal forge but still only one at a time but it’s still more efficient than a normal forge, but you get the Indy forge before the magma’s saddle which you’d want so the magma can gather stone for itself to offset the mass food drain of the smelting.

I don’t mean to be one of “those” but the adobe railings are upside down. If you flip them they have a finished top . But of course if you like them how you’ve done it then cool.
Reporting every 'fell off' comment as spam. 🧘 I like the stables! I practically grew up in one, and it was a nice, unexpected surprise to relive some of those memories while watching this build. Really wish fibre and/or thatch could be converted into hay bales tbh.
Alpha worms are sooooo rare and just scuffed on official servers. which makes no sense since you have 2 types of alphas on island that give the same amount of pearls. And worms should always drop some pearls not just 0
That’s them spawning in, when you leave render most things slow down or “freeze” as time essentially stop, so when you come back to render that specific area the things spawned in fall because they were in a stasis.
I have a question ( not relevant to the video). If you can have only 20 mutation from both of parent who how could you have tames above this level in ark survival evolved ( I am sorry if a have any mistake I am not a native speaker)

I think i am speaking on behalf of most of us but Syntac is the only reason I play Ark
Syntac was definitely one of the reasons but Iballisticsquid was the first reason for it.

the pull system sometimes bugs out and stops working tho. better off waiting for super structures to be fully done.

I was breeding kangaroos yesterday and got a double mutation on twins! Idk the chance of that but it seems super rare

I like that the camera is so expensive. It’s an end game item. It’s for when you have a plethora of resources. It makes perfect sense to me.

By the way the Gaps in the stables makes sense you need massive air flow or the smells will overwhelm you.
I'd add a forge to the outside area for farriers and horseshoe work.

I've had the best luck near blue ob for death worms but they keep showing up in packs. The last encounter was 3 reg and one alpha.

there is a setting you can put in your ini settings to let you throw it out anywhere. But it's only for single player or your personal server

Red Dead Redemption 2 town layouts might give you some ideas for some other stores and buildings in the town
