Learn Chaminade 1st 15 Measures Cécile Chaminade Flute Concertino in D Major Op 107
I will be teaching through the concertino in 6 parts where I will highlight areas that might be technically and rhythmically difficult.
In this first video I will cover only the first 15 measures. This is the opening to the whole piece. It sets the tone and it's so beautiful and lovely.

Im interested in playing this piece after watching this video. I have just listened to the whole music and i wonder how to play the sixteenth and thirty-second notes. Please let me know in the comment down below. Thanks!

Hi Jennifer, if you haven't started the technical aspects of this solo the best way to begin is very slowly. Don't even worry about the 16th and 32nd notes until you feel that you know what is going on in your fingers. You can also use different articulations to help you learn the fast note passages. The piece is well worth your work!

@@DoctorFlute thanks for the suggestion. Im starting to learn it. I can see there are lots of notes that require scale, so I will begin step by step slowly.

I have a question I forgot to ask. Does it work if i practise chromatic scale by playing The Flight of the Bumblebee?
