Doomfist Combo Tutorial - BlindBison [Overwatch]

  • Due to the nature of Doomfist's weapon/reload and because of how animation cancelling works with abilities in Overwatch, we can optimize our reload and burst damage by cancelling shots before/in-between our abilities. Additionally before using the Leap skill ("Seismic Slam") we can jump to slightly increase damage.
    Generic combo order is:
    1) [Shoot x3 + Punch] to initiate (3 shots because a fully charged punch will refund 3 shots so going into the our Leap combo we'll have max ammo)
    2) [Jump + Shoot] simultaneously for extra height/damage + [Leap]
    3) Shoot + Uppercut
    4) Shoot til empty (bottom out clip, usually 3 shots at this point)
    5) Melee + wait for reload one shot and shoot that one shot + Punch (melee eats up much of the shot reload time where Punch may not yet be off cooldown if you keyed through the combo quickly)
    Additional Notes:
    +++ If you leap/Seismic Slam off of high ground you'll need the ground beneath you to initiate the Seismic Slam so be sure you don't jump forward off the ledge then Leap or Leap may not trigger correctly.
    +++ You can jump towards the end of the Punch to gain some extra travel distance
    +++ You can Leap into roof tops to fully charge up your Leap damage OR Punch into ramps for height.
