Prices will continue to plunge. Theres very little demand out there. Even with interest rates dropping people have finally realized that RV travel is not easy, and has gotten very expensive.
I think sales depends much on interest rates. As far as getting burned, we didn't, and most of our friends own older rvs, so they are good too. We did get a lemon in 2005. We bought our first new 5th wheel, a Holiday Rambler Savoy. Boy was that a mistake. We got it because it had aircraft aluminum siding and aluminum framing. We didn't know the roof was going to leak in all 4 corners. Come to find out there was a 2-3 in gap between the front cap and where the roof began. Their fix was to calk the snot out of it, which did not work. The rig was in the shop more than in my driveway the first year until the warranty was up. That thing never did get fixed, and continued to leak until we traded it in on the one we have now, which is 2014 305R Solitude. We love this one! Safe travels you guys!❤
We purchased our Grand Design, Reflection, from a mom and pop lot, that was bought out by Lazy Days. I was probably the reason the LazyDays, in Oregon, is getting closed down. They wouldn’t return my phone call. I had to drive 5 hours just to talk to a service manager, about my slide, that was coming out of the frame. And when I got there I was not a happy camper. And I let everyone in the shop and the sales area, know it. Then I put it on social media, and now the two we dealt with, are both closing. The Oregon and Vancouver, Washington location. The Vancouver dealership, did body work. And we had the back end of our grand design buckle. I took it to the Vancouver location, to get it fixed. I had to take it back three times, cause Everytime we got it fixed, by the time we got it home, the back was buckled again. Like it was never fixed in the first place. Plus, they didn’t attach the lower supports, on either side. So, I’m not surprised that these two locations are being closed down. It took over a year to get the rear skirts, to fix the back end. Then they buckled when we got it home. Yeah, I’m not surprised at all.
If you are in the area near Gainesville, SC check out Adventure Motorhomes, great group of people to work with getting an RV, great service department also.
We’ve downsized for 2025 … Flagstaff E-Pro 15TB … 45% off MSRP … our small local dealer was very helpful … will use them for service next year … during COVID Camping World bought my used camper for more than I paid new 5 years before so I’m loving Camping World !!! As for camper quality … it’s a mixed bag … the thing that nags me the most is that manufacturers and dealers don’t take a few hours to make sure everything is working … just a little bit more attention to the details would go along way … and it always interesting to look behind the cabinets to see how sloppy the wiring and plumbing is done … perhaps there are too many manufacturers, too many models, not enough margin for quality, not enough skilled workers
We love our unit, but only after being close to being burnt on one we passed on. Even now having one, I read tons of comments on social media about manufacturers and dealers. They simply won't get my time to look when we are in the market. My time is limited, I don't want to waste it dealing with Blue Skys
Glad you survived the cold in Nappanee, you guys are troopers, brrr! Numerous reports of unacceptable quality and poor service by dealers and manufacturers, along with higher interest rates, have taken a huge toll on the industry. The industry, if it is going to survive, must improve quality and change its attitude toward the customer. Otherwise, what's the point of continuing! That said, we have had a great experience with our 2020 Newmar 4369 Dutch Star and with the dealer, Independence RV in Winter Garden, Fla. We purchased the coach new in December of 2020, built in January of that year, so pre-Covid. Issues have been very few and minor. Build quality and drivability are light years better than the previous coach we owned.
Great video guys. Im curious about next year. Interest rates are supposed to drop which could help. A lot of people have been burnt like you guys said. Im seeing a lot of people getting out of RVing for many reasons inflation, too busy working, don't enjoy it, campsites are too expensive, etc.
We bought our 2022 Jayco in Nov 2021. You can tell it was thrown together. During covid so many regular workers were out with it. And then hiring people without training them properly caused a lot of mistakes I think
@EndlessRVing @EndlessRVing Water system has never worked. Was in for repairs several times. Now they refuse to look at it again. Speakers didn't work for months. Radio didn't work for a while. I ended up fixing it myself because they didn't even hook it up right when they put a new radio in. Pieces of trim missing. Warped ceiling. Jayco won't do anything about it. They said it's up to the dealer who also won't do anything
I don't go to RV shows. The last thing I want to do is walk into a new model that makes me wonder why I ever bought that antiquated model I now own :-(
Great video thank you guys. i’m sorry to hear about getting stuck in the snow in the Mustang. I’m really curious. Are you able to flat tow? The Tesla is yours all-wheel-drive? I think it would make a great tow vehicle if it’s possible also, would you ever consider doing a review on that car it’s one of the cars we are considering and we trust the opinion from you guys. Thanks again for all the great videos Merry Christmas.
The slap it together system failed for RV's and Boeing planes with pieces falling off. Not good for stock prices too. I used to fly everywhere but happy to just travel in my 1994 luxury class A.
If interest rates goes now then year more sales will be generated. People that have millions of dollars to do whatever they want to . The rate of interest rates don't effect them , because they can pay cash for the RV / motorhome. This would make up somewhere around maybe 10 to 15 percent of the buyers. So yes it has to do with the job market and interest rates is what I say .
I feel like I’m getting burned by heartland. I have my first RV and it has a soft spot. Camping world said it was denied to have it fixed. I have been trying to get in touch with heartland and I keep emailing them. But I am not getting any response.
We have a place in Surprise AZ for winter. Lazy days RV just built a beautiful new facility here and now we hear Camping World has bought them. Camping World is the worst for customer service yet they keep surviving. Not understanding this one.
Good video 😊 just saying who has 5 hundred thousand at this time I think there going to be a slow down dealers may go out of business word is out about bad quality that takes months to fix manufacturers and dealers can't be trusted high prices 🤔😆 safe travels
So Camping World should be going out of business eh? 😁 Well the nice weather we had after you left is gone and back to winter crap now. None of the white crap but even colder 🥶than when y'all were here. Can't wait to check into the condo 12/28🤩
Numbers are accurate & If the new incoming administration does get the economy moving as they claim, then 2025 can be a great year for the rv industry 😮
Thought about you guys and New jersey yesterday after all the drone reports coming out. Crazy stuff. I know Izzy is in police line of work. I know you guys probably don't know anything but why if the military is denying knowing about them why don't the police or sherrifs shot one down so we can figure out where they are from. Seems weird nothing is being done about them. hope all is well on your travels.
@EndlessRVing lol I knew you would say that. But if the military is not claiming them, they should be taken as a threat. Need a net gun if they make those or something. I would think the sheriff would have the authority to do something.
You're speaking my language on RV purchasing at Tampa Show.
Great # Stuff! Great information! Thanks for sharing and safe travels!
We're glad you liked it!
Prices will continue to plunge. Theres very little demand out there. Even with interest rates dropping people have finally realized that RV travel is not easy, and has gotten very expensive.

Hope to see you there!
We plan on being at the Tampa RV show as we will be in Clermont. Hope to see you there.
Great time to buy. Just picked up a New 2024 Class A at 40% off.
We are headed to Tampa Show to kind of nail down exactly what we want. We have a good idea, but want to make sure.
Enjoy the show!

I'm in Indiana now heading south, it's 16degrees! Left Wisconsin yesterday, been under 20 since. I will not be RVing in the cold when we go full time!
🤣 It’s not for everyone.
We aren't "looking" but I'm always looking.... LOL. There are some good deals out there for sure. Can't wait to see the videos from Showalter RV
Nice coaches and great dealership
If you are in the area near Gainesville, SC check out Adventure Motorhomes, great group of people to work with getting an RV, great service department also.
I I goofed up, the town is Greenville, SC
I’m at the service center the first week of January. I keep telling myself it won’t be THAT cold. I can hope…..

Dang, I wish you would've come to southern Indiana. My wife and I could've gone out for dinner with you.

So glad you found something you’re happy with.
We got our shirts and love them except my husband ordered himself a v-neck LOL mine was perfect
I’ve been there twice great people. I go every year for service,I never go back to the dealer ,I learned my lesson about dealers the hard way
Yep always a great experience there!

Even if interest rates ease, I think people will continue to be leery of buying until quality improves.

We agree about people being burnt, but we think sales will go up in 2025

We love the Tesla, but it can’t be flat towed

Need winter tires

lol Florida is calling you!! 📣
What do you think about the new 2025 Tesla EV Motorhome?😮
No thought because it’s not in production, however Elon only makes awesome things!!
I'm interested in getting a travel trailer, but everything about RVing seems very Apollo 13ish.
Numbers are accurate & If the new incoming administration does get the economy moving as they claim, then 2025 can be a great year for the rv industry 😮
It won't be 2025.

You can’t just fire weapons into the sky.
