I love chatty videos when I know that’s what they are. Those are the videos I watch while doing chores. The only time I don’t like them is when I’m not expecting it. I like to be active when I’m really only listening. Video titles make such a difference here.
I love your chatty videos!!! And the speed of which you chat lol 🤣 congrats on hitting your extra mortgage goal this month too - that’s so exciting. Can’t wait to see vlogs from your trip to Europe 🫶🏼
About the screen time, there is a way you can see your screen time from other weeks, you can go into settings on your phone, and then search for screen time. Then switch the tab to week and then to see the screentime from other weeks, you can go back and forth by scrolling the weekly graphs, but it only does it for the last month (I think), at least that is how you find that out on my iPhone 11.
I love all of your videos! I may not get around to watching them all but, you inspire me to do no spend weeks and to sort through my income and expenses! you are so wonderful :)
Love the chatty content. I'm recovering from a gastric bypass (which cost a pretty penny), so Oct is hopefully going to be a no spend month. I am saving for new clothes in a few months 😊
Do you have a video on how you first combined finances? My partner and I have made that step and setting it up has been so hard. We're basically starting fresh and any savings we have stays with us but from now we're putting all our income into one account but the logistics with using our credit card (which we've already been using but seperately) is a logistical nightmare.
I've been told leave loading is meant to help even out those who taking leave instead of getting plenty rates. Eg taking annual leave on a Saturday you don't get the plenty rates you usually get
@@smileycitrus i wondered about leave loading myself as I never understood why we get paid more going on holidays so I looked it up and it's because we might have more expenses / spend more in general when we go on holidays so it's supposed to cover that.
Don’t make the mistake of going through all the effort of mounting your TV just to realise it’s too small and that you want to upgrade/ upsize!! We made this mistake 🤦♀️ Make sure you invest in a mount that caters for your current tv AND up to much larger one! also one that has a tilting function to reduce glare from the beautiful sun you guys get ❤
Your videos got my attention and I really like them. Thank you for that. As I really like the templates you're using, I bought them immediately. BUT.... as I,m an oldy (not in my eyes, but compared to your age 😅) I,m not very familiair with how it works. I used to work with Excel, but just the basic stuff. So here's my question: How do you insert the small images next to your descriptions? Keep up the good works, and I wish my kids were budgeting their money as you do.
Love these! How do you put something you saved for in your spread sheet? Example- when you saved for vacation over 3 months, and spend that money in October, how does that go on the spreadsheet so it doesn’t look like you spent a ton of THAT months income Since it was already saved? If that makes sense lol
Hi! you just do a minus e.g. you've saved $5000 in your holiday savings category across the year, then this month you want to take from the savings so in the spending tracker you go -5000 from holiday fund and it will appear in the "left to spend" and you can track as you normally would. Hope that makes sense!
Do you have an online ETF that you would recommend? I was looking at Vanguard but not sure. I just want something easy that I can contribute like $50 a week too. Also what online surveys do you do? any websites that you recommend? I love your content. Thanks so much for sharing.
Do you wear a smart watch to manage your fitness and activity, what do you recommend? Apple or generic not expensive? Also I really want to travel to the Kimberley’s next year this looks so expensive especially as a single, thoughts and strategies?
I have an apple watch and I love it! For the Kimberley's a group tour is definitely the move - they sometimes have specials on single spots left + there are special sales throughout the year, you just have to keep your eye out
Within your bank acc you can make other folders..ive got ..pension./bills..then gas and electricity..car matinance..spending..emergency..that's my folders..as for no spending ...that's me never spend on nothing.sad..
Hi Ella I am planning a UK trip next year and the currency difference was surprising. Will be great to see your vlogs for your travel. I am looking at London and surrounds and then Scotland. Do you know does it cost less to when we are there to outweigh the conversion a bit. My Aussie dollars won't go far if I am still paying similar to Aussie prices.
Hi! how exciting! Having a look online, I've noticed that most things are about 50% cheaper than here which helps with the exchange rate. I've heard London can be quite $$$ but I'll do a full budget breakdown when I get back 💰
we do eat out at least once a week! but otherwise, we always shop the sale sections, meal plan, do a weekly food shop rather than going several times a week and eat a lot of veggie meals bc meat gets expensive
I looove the chatty content, i understand why you might be anxious about it, but it’s my favourite content of yours!!! xx
thank you 🥹 this is the reassurance I needed haha xx

I swear the second half of the year always goes faster the the first half - crazy it is October already. Can't wait for the travel vlogs! ❤

Agreed

So helpful! P.s. this blue shirt looks so pretty on you ☺
aw thank you 🥹
Loving your videos, i budgeted for an outdoor setting and got one from barbecues galore and bonus saved $500.
thanks lovely! that's an amazing deal 😍
I've been told leave loading is meant to help even out those who taking leave instead of getting plenty rates. Eg taking annual leave on a Saturday you don't get the plenty rates you usually get
that makes sense! Nick just doesn't get any penalty rates nor works the weekends so it doesn't make sense in that instance 😅 no complaints though 🤑

Hi Ella, I was wondering how you go about budgeting for your business expenses like all the software ect. Do you use the same google sheet? Thanks 😊
Hi! I track on google sheets in a seperate spreadsheet and then my account takes care of the rest 😅
Ah okay!! 😊 Thanks for the reply ❤

Have been looking your videos! You may have answered this before but where are your prints from behind your dinning table?
thank you!! the prints are from Etsy 🫶🏼
I’m sure you’ve already answered this somewhere but, do you have a recipe for the syrup you add to your coffee at the start?
I do! it's in my spring days vlog 🥰
How are you spending so little on groceries/household 😭 my partner and I in QLD spend $800-$1050 a month
we do eat out at least once a week! but otherwise, we always shop the sale sections, meal plan, do a weekly food shop rather than going several times a week and eat a lot of veggie meals bc meat gets expensive

Cute af
Geez why do you talk so fast
sorry Christine, I guess I was just born this way
@@smileycitrusthen why do UA-cam if people cannot understand what your saying . Smart arse answer by the way
there's a playback speed function on UA-cam for this reason Christine
I would argue your comment was rude and warrants the proportionate response Christine.
@@tareegibson9351 I wouldn’t say it was rude everyone can voice their opinion lovely
