Circuit Rhythm Beat- Christmas Time - Sampled Hip-hop

Christmas Time is a track cut from my Burn the Tree Performance, a Christmas inspired beat tape I put together on the Circuit Rhythm. A sampled journey through 15ish beats all with a merry yuletide bent, performed in one shot.

For an idea of what is going on, the Circuit Rhythm has 8 sample slots and about 300secs of sample time, each sample slot being represented 1-8 by the number switches. The first row of coloured pads is those sample slots. Across the tape I have the kick in sample 1, the snare in sample 2, the hats in sample 3, the sleighbells in sample 4. Sample slots 5-8 are for everything else, bass, melody, vocals etc etc. I play out each beat, and then move on to the next one. I'm recording the output of the Rhythm into Ableton Live, and then triggering the movie quotes on my Push. If not for the sample length limitations of the Circuit Rhythm, I conceivably could have performed this whole tape with it entirely.
