Circuit Rhythm Beat - Jingle Dub - Sampled Hip-hop

Jingle Dub is a track cut from my Burn the Tree Performance, a Christmas inspired beat tape I put together on the Circuit Rhythm. A sampled journey through 15ish beats all with a merry yuletide bent, performed in one shot.

For an idea of what is going on, the Circuit Rhythm has 8 sample slots and about 300secs of sample time, each sample slot being represented 1-8 by the number switches. The first row of coloured pads is those sample slots. Across the tape I have the kick in sample 1, the snare in sample 2, the hats in sample 3, the sleighbells in sample 4. Sample slots 5-8 are for everything else, bass, melody, vocals etc etc. I play out each beat, and then move on to the next one through creative use of the Grid FX and reverb/delay/eq. I'm recording the output of the Rhythm into Ableton Live, and then triggering the movie quotes on my Push. If not for the sample length limitations of the Circuit Rhythm, I conceivably could have performed this whole tape with it entirely.
