TUA’s average time to throw is 2.1 seconds. By far the fastest in the league. Corner is not getting there. Ball is out by his 3rd drop back step. Dolphins were playing with 2 backup tackles vs the jets and Jets had zero sacks and not 1 knock down. Only knockdown they did have on TUA was a personal foul late hit. Also blitzing is dangerous as Dolphins do a lot of screens to Achane and Jonu Smith. There is a reason why teams don’t blitz TUA because it doesn’t work. Teams are playing 2 safeties back and give up all the underneath stuff and not give up the big plays.
Every coach, every player does this and there are a couple of reasons. One, there's only so many answers you can give before you start giving away state secrets, so coaches and players rely on the lexicon of cliches to answer questions. Two, there are far too many press conferences, far too much access to coaches and players by media. There's absolutely no need to have a press conference before and after every game, plus before and after every practice and pre-flight interviews for away games. It's beyond stupid the amount of media responsibilities these guys have.
Kudos to Seth for boosting the volume on the questions. Always too hard to hear. Love it. Yes, if we could equalize your mic as well, it would be perfect. But still really appreciated the improvement with the questions at least.
Pitre has been like the Honey Badger. Love him on the Texans.
Corner Blitz on the 1st drive of the Fins will set the tone and give Tua happy feet & effect his timing - accuracy !
He could also burn us on a deep ball to hill.
