I love that Pic. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I haven't picked this one up yet though. Those lines are awful. I actually just received my first one with the lines. It was a restock. You can truly hear the disappointment in your voice.
It will be ok. It won’t show through because it’s a square. You don’t need to buy micro powder. It’s just something that happened and DAC will take care of it if you aren’t happy. It has been fixed. It’s a beautiful kit. I bought it too. I’m happy with it. Love it actually.
Beautiful canvas. I am only working on my second DAC kit. It’s older so no pink lines. It doesn’t make any sense to me, seems like they were trying to fix something that didn’t need to be fixed. 🤷♀️
It will be a pretty painting. There is a couple more paintings that I should add to my wish list, this being one of them. Looks like a lot of their Christmas paintings did sell out. I ordered two paintings, and fortunately, both of mine, did not have the pink lines. I sent them an email with my vote, of going back to the original plastic cover and do away with the perforations and definitely the pink lines. I think the canvases roll up better, without the perforated plastic on them.
That is awesome painting. Don’t understand why they are not stopping the line. I think if I got a canvas with that I would request a refund Thanks for sharing
I agree with you Mindy about the red lines. I honestly think Diamond Art Club should have either pulled them immediately and or been very transparent as to which paintings had them and heavily discounted those paintings and giving people the option buy them if they wanted. I understand them trying to make their money back. I also understand that if it was a manufacturer error that they got their money back so not only did they get their money back they are charging full price for the painting and almost making double I guarantee that's happening I did purchase this painting as well I did not look to see if the red lines had gone through to the glue on mine but I assume that if they are on yours they are probably on mine so I'm not super excited about that either
Eecckk…. Well - I just opened up my Marjorie Sarnat Gnomes Christmas canvas- Under A Magical Moon…. I just joined the Red line club…. But It’s a square. Ggeezzzz Dreamer designs has a new Tricia -Reilly Matthews on Saturday the 16th. It’s my birthday on Saturday…. And I ❤ her artwork like you do. It’s going to be mine. 🍁🍃🍂
I purchased this painting. I love it! Mine has no pink lines at all. Not even on the cover. So odd that some have them and some don’t. And I completely agree the lines are not necessary. I hate them. I feel DAC canvases are gorgeous before the first drill is placed. These lines ruin that!
All of the painting wont have the red lines. I have gotten one that someone had red lines but mine didnt. DAC also offers more than one option to make this right if you contact them. DAC did this because it was highly requested that a better way to see the perforations be added. This is why they did this. Some people do like the pink lines especially when just on the plastic. The pink lines wont show behind square drills according to the pictures that have been posted. The canvas you got is very beautiful. You mentioned you need to do more research on the trading cards. Carra from The principal painter did a very in depth review of the trading cards, how to tell which is which and how to redeem them. As far as the twist and pick pens, Katie from Diamonds and wash did a very in depth review and showed how to use and refill with the putty for anyone that wants a better understanding of the new pens. You also said you didnt know why there are fairy dust and regular colors in the same DMC. According to other content creators, its to add a little more shimmer to the area charted with a particular color. Its not as bold and "in your face" as the ABs are. It just gives that little something extra that is not quite so much bling. DAC will also do the same thing the ABs and fairy dust in the same DMC shade because of the effect that it gives. You seem to be dissatisfied with several things with DAC so I hope this helps. I hope you dont take offense to this. Just trying to offer a little helpful info.
I think Diamond Art club needs to just stop putting the red ink on the canvases. It would get rid of the problem! I unboxed the snowman and there weren't any red lines on mine. Im Not understanding how some have the red lines and some don't. Have a great day.
So beautiful love snowman.
Beautiful! Love the cute, happy snowman 😊
Beautiful diamond painting Mindy
Beautiful snowman painting! I don’t like the perforations & pink lines either. Thanks Mindy!
Don't understand how some paintings have red lines and some don't! It is a gorgeous painting! Wow 96 colours!! 😊
They were on my new (round) Spangler. 😢
I really love this beautiful snowman ⛄️ painting.
Agreed about the Mica powder.
Love the painting! Hate the punk lines. 😉 I plan to take pics of my kit with the lines bleeding through and contact DAC about it.

Hopefully they will listen to their customers!

Also Mindy, did you reach out to support? They will give you 1000 points as a discount for the lines on the canvas.

It’s frustrating when you don’t know what you’re getting.
Hi Mindy, i got a round kit and it had the red lines. I wonder if the white mica powder could cover the red lines. I am frustrated also
Pretty canvas. Such a shame it has pink lines. Start it & let us know if the pink lines show after you lay the drills. Enjoy your day!

I'm so glad you got one without the pink lines!

It’s such a mystery!
