Problem is that in order to get a drivers license you need to have need 6 months Visa. You Philippines DL after 3 months in the Philippines. So what the heck are we supposed to do. Very inconsistent....
One small correction. The $20,000/$10,000 deposit for the SRRV. If I understand it correctly, it's not sitting in an account doing nothing. Some interest will be paid on the deposit. It might be worth going into more details on the the deposit and what type of interest is paid on it.
Not true, just as if you have a valid US visa in an old passport, all you have to do is present the old and new passport together to the immigration officer
The rule is you are supposed to transfer the visa to the new passport. For the Philippines anyway. Maybe you will be lucky and the immigration officer will accept it but that is not the rule.

JR is a great source, Gary. Thank you for this excellent information. I will be interested in JR's Dumaguete services in 2 to 3 months.
Great video Gary! I love how he makes things clear and easy to follow.
Thank you Gary for bringing JRC into the limelight. This will make my transition so easy. See you in October.
Good information about Visas from a reliable source. Thanks!
So it’s true what they say: Filipinos love paperwork. This man is very passionate about the topic.

I don't think there was mention on the cost to the foreigner for the preparation of all these necessary documents.
