Congratulations!!! This is so exciting! Saw your tweet about buying everyone drinks at the bar. Lmaooo I paid for everyone’s dinner. Over $100 later 🙂 but when I have a bad day at work I never say “oh this day sucked” I just have a mental todo list of what tm is gonna bring and it gets me excited to go back to work!! And a glass of wine alone in bed always helps! Best of luck Brooke! I can’t wait for the vlogs🤪
I have been watching you since you were in high school! Your videos have been so motivating and helpful. Time is flying really fast just finished up my freshman year at penn state! I wish you the best of luck on your next chapter in life I know you’ll kill it!
What you said about having good days and having bad days could not be more true. But the people you're surrounded with at work really make the experience worthwhile and I'm so glad you'll be with people your age because that is what makes all the difference in my office. Don't ever be afraid to open up about how you're feeling to a coworker that you trust because often times they have felt the same things! You're gonna do great and there are still plenty more of the best days of your life ahead of you!
You are going to LOVE being in Boston! I just moved up here from Texas. Plus you'll be 4 hours away from your family :) Congrats Brooke, you have worked so hard to get where you are. We can't wait to see how you grow in your professional and YT career.
So crazy, I am a senior in college, graduating in May and ALWAYS saw myself going into social media/digital marketing and I ended up focusing on sales too. My college has a whole sales program and it helped me so much realize that . I just got a job in advertising sales and it gives me the creative outlet I need and the relationships I love with customers! I have watched you since I was a senior in high school and it’s been so fun “growing up” with you! 😂
Congrats Brooke!!! I am so happy for you! A lot of my family and friends live in/near Boston and they love it! I graduate in 3 weeks and I am nervous and sad as well! I go to school in Rhode Island and I am moving back home to Connecticut where I have a job as a financial planning associate at the company I interned with last summer! I am feeling all of the same feelings as you. Although I will not experience living in a new place like you are, it is going to be a big adjustment to live with my parents and not my best friends. Life is ever changing and we all have to figure it out as we go along!
Congratulations on your success!! I am 24 and graduated 2 years ago, so I went through all of this kinda recently. I ended up leaving my first job after a year because it wasn't quite the right fit and I wanted to move away from the east coast. Now I live in the twin cities working for a great firm and I'm much happier! It sounds like you probably won't need to do that, but just know that you're never stuck if it turns out not to be what you had hoped :)
watching this in feb 2021 because i have been following you for the last year or so and im now a senior about to graduate. crazy to see where you are now but how applicable all this advice is.
Graduating from college puts you in such a strange situation. Like your used to structure, & a certain area, & friends...and it's just strange when it's over with. Struggling with this right now. But it's also extremely exciting!
@Brooke Miccio Congrats! I moved to Boston last August for my job at Harvard and love it. Just a heads up that for the majority of the apartments here require everyone to move in the same day which is September 1st so plan way ahead! Personally, I chose to stay in an Airbnb one day after September 1st which made things so much easier. The roads get super chaotic with all the moving trucks. Once all is settled though you will love Boston. Check out Tatte and SweetGreen.
It is incredibly refreshing to see someone be so raw and admit that you’re scared. I feel like a lot of people let us know how excited they are but I loved you being so honest about how you feel.
Aww Brooke I got a little emo watching this lol! I graduated college in 2015 so it’s been so cool/nostalgic to see your college experience through all your vlogs. It’s cheesy but because I’ve watched your videos since the tinychat days I feel like a proud older sister seeing you grow up and taking on the next phase of your life! It’s okay to be scared but you’re right, no one has it figured out!! We’re all just winging it. 😊💞
@@brookemiccio Hahah hi!! It doesn't get much more OG than tinychat, that was such a fun time to be on UA-cam. And aww of course! I've always appreciated how real you are in your videos and that definitely hasn't changed over the years 😊
Yes everybody in that phase of life is scared and kinda just wingin it while hoping for the best.. Don’t feel inadequate or unprepared. Most importantly don’t compare your journey to where anybody else is at. Run YOUR race. Your pace is not their pace. You’re exactly where you’re meant to be and you got this. Love you 💕
Brooke, I'm also 22 and graduating in a few weeks and feel the exact same way. I'm excited to see where your future takes you though! Btw, where did you get that stay wild sign behind you? Best of luck to you!!
ugh watching you talk about getting emotional is making me get emotional!! After watching your videos for so many years, it's crazy to watch you grow up! I'm one year ahead of you and I can tell you adulthood only gets better. And I'm also in Boston, so I can also confirm that Boston is a pretty dope place to start adulting.
Congrats girl! Your perspective is so mature. I’m 22 but took a break after 2 years of school and travelled/worked in my field for a couple years, decided I did like it, so now I’m back to finish my degree :) I felt like I was so off track for leaving school back then but it’s so true that everyone really has their own path, I’m so happy that I did what I did despite it being different from my peers :) Get it girl! You’ve always been such a boss lady I’ve looked up to and watched over the years. I appreciate your transparency and honesty 💙
college are a great 4 years, but the best for you in that phase of your life! I was so nervous of the post grad depression but I realized quick how I was actually over the college life and ready for the next chapter. Now I look back on my 4 years in college as some of the best years- but I know I am past that and ready for the future. You can be happy and think of those as the best 4 years but still be excited for how amazing the future is and starting a new chapter :)
also- you will love Boston and tbh I feel it could be an amazing fit for you. It isn't huge so has almost a close knit feel but big enough to feel like a city. Also, having a job is going to be the best way to make friends and you will most likely love your commute to burlington a lot better than driving in or taking the train into boston. The greater Boston area has also become really cool these past years and full of people your age. It will be nice to be out of the city but can easily go in when you want to.
Congrats on your first “big girl” job! I graduated college 5 years ago and what you are feeling right now is SO NORMAL! Once you settle into a new routine of going to work/living on your own, you will love it! Not having to stress about papers and homework will feel SO GOOD! Enjoy your last few weeks of college! They will fly by so take in all of the memories and pictures. Good luck to you!
Congrats girl! And no... college doesn't have to be the best years of your life. I'm about a year post-grad and my work as a digital producer is so fulfilling and I love it. You will love post-grad life. It is totally what you make of it. Love what you do, take chances, find community, travel when you can, and just live your freaking life to the fullest!
Loved watching this! Ive always felt like we are very similar (same age, same major, same study abroad) and it’s great to hear that it’s ok to be nervous and excited from someone I look up to. Can’t wait to watch you grow!
I’m 19, I’ll be 20 this summer. I’ll be a junior in college in the fall. As of right now I have a skill set in Electrocardiographic Technology, but the ultimate goal is to get into the radiology program at my school, which only accepts 18 people every fall. I am working a part time job in radiology right now as an assistant so I’m hoping that having that experience will help me achieve my goal!❤️
I remember when you announced you were going to UGA and I was going into high school and now you’re graduating college and I’m going to UGA. Life’s crazzyyyyyyyyyy.
Madison Weathersbee same!!! I remember watching her video to get ready for my SAT ahhh and now I’m graduated from HS and she’s done with college!! Time flies hahaha
You put into word what I’m sure a lot of us are thinking. I’m super excited for you and can’t wait for you to share your new beginnings. You are such an inspiration to me!
I've literally been watching you since you were in high school and it's so cool to see how you've grown over the years! Congrats girl, so excited for you!
I loved watching this video so much. Thank you for sharing your journey with us! I know I speak for so many when I say we can't wait to see where you go next in your next phase of life. I graduated a little over a year ago and have to say that everything you mentioned in this video is spot on. I moved halfway across the country to pursue my career - having no idea if it was the right spot, but it was the one that I felt was the best (which it was)! I know for a fact that I still don't have everything together, I'm definitely faking it till I make it (lol) and in all honesty, that's how I feel life is like through and through. You're going to kill it in Boston, girl!! Be yourself and be confident. I can't wait to see what life has in store for you and to continue following your journey. Love in AOT 💚
Brooke, I'm so happy for you!! Watching this gave me such feels because I was just in the place you're in a year and a half ago. I just turned 23 recently and I graduated with my Bachelor's in Dec 2017. I was set up with a job right after college and so excited to get into industry! I got a job within what my degree was (obviously), did that job for a year, and absolutely hated it. I had to do some real self-exploration to come to the conclusion that 1. It's okay to not know what you really want when you're 22, 2. That EVERY opportunity you take teaches you something and time is never wasted, and 3. That IT'S OKAY to make a change if you aren't happy. I just recently started a new job because I decided to go back to school. I wish you so much luck on your journey, and thank you for sharing it all with us. I just thought I would share with you because I wish someone had told me this when I was graduating college. LOVE YOU!!
I'm so excited to see a college youtuber actually talk about getting a job upon graduation! It makes you so much more relatable to the rest of us who are in similar positions. I'm a senior in college graduating soon and I'm currently applying to grad school, so hopefully I'll start in august!
I truly feel this Brooke! I am so excited for the next steps, the fear is just kind of hitting right now because graduation is so close and everything will be so different.
My semester is over in 2 weeks so I understand the fear and the nerves. Just know you’re not alone, I think we’re all feeling this way. Excited to follow where you go from here! xoxo
I totally relate to the change feeling! as graduation gets closer, I’m feeling a little nervous but I’m excited! So happy for you Brooke can’t wait to keep following your new journey 💕
Aw Brooke I’m so so happy for you :) I’m in the same place in my life as you are, and graduation is this weekend. Totally freaking out but it’s going to be amazing! So awesome that you can recognize how proud you should be of yourself, I got a job around the same time as you and we SHOULD be proud because we’re effin killing it! Can’t wait to follow your journey ❤️
Congrats Brooke!! I graduated college a year ago and I remember how excited/nervous I was when I accepted my job and moved. It’s so exciting for you!!!!!
It has been so cool watching your videos the past four years and being the same age because even though we've never met, I feel like we've shared the most exciting experiences together! Can't wait to watch your grown up vlogs! 💗
You have such a great head on your shoulders Brooke! I’m 32 now married with 3 kids and post grad is some of the best and challenging years! You’ll do great and enjoy the adventure!
Can I just say how cool it is too see you go and get a job! I know for a lot of people UA-cam is there full time job. But I always thought it was interesting that people would go to school for 4-5 years and then choose to do UA-cam instead of something in their major (which is amazing too). But it’s so much more relatable for the average person to see a youtuber working a traditional job AND do UA-cam. I mean it’s fun and all to watch youtubers go to Bali and and Aruba and Coachella but I don’t find that as cool as someone talking about working a job that is more relatable. I hope that makes sense! I am so excited for you! And I am excited for the content to come! Work day vlogs! What I eat in a day of work! More relatable stuff❤️
I so clearly remember when you posted your video announcing that you're going to UGA and I can't believe that much time has passed! I just wanted to say you've always been someone that I look up to and aspire to be like someday. Can't wait to see what else you accomplish along the way!!!
I’m so happy for you! I’m a year younger and you make growing up and leaving college next year a little less scary. Congrats on opening this new chapter! Thanks for bringing us on this journey!
I graduated from college 2 years ago and let me tell you, it’s hard at first. I hated post-grad and cried a lot at first but it gets a lot better once you’re well adjusted to you job and new environment
So excited for you! It took me 5 years to graduate from undergrad and I just wanted to tell people still in high school/college that there’s no “timeline” you need to follow. It’s so hard seeing people you know graduate with their Bachelor’s after 3 years and then getting married and going back for a master’s degree etc., but not everyone follows the same plan/direction! Also if you get out of college and get your first job and it’s not what you expected and you don’t love it then that’s okay. Everyone has to start somewhere. Good luck on your journey, looking forward to seeing how you grow even more as a person outside of college :) much love from Nebraska
been watching since you were in high school, it's been so awesome to see you go through college and grow! I can't wait to see the awesome things you're gonna do and the amazing person you'll become!!
LOL, I really relate to this right now. I am also 22 and about to graduate in a couple of days. Thank you for being so transparent about how you are feeling and everything! Love your videos.
You’re going to do so well post grad! I experienced the same thing when I graduated. It honestly didn’t hit me until 2ish weeks after I graduated and someone was asking me about my post grad plans. I had a job lined up and everything but I had the biggest panic attack. Crying and everything! It’s perfectly normal and you’re set up to do nothing but succeed. Congratulations and good luck at your new job!
I am excited to see your transition to a new city and professional life. I would love to see your before and after work routine vlog style. I have learned in life that everyone has their own timeline for achievements.
Congratulations! I am also graduating in the next couple weeks and accepted a full-time position! You are definitely not alone.. Very bittersweet and emotional as the college years come to an end.. but also so exciting!
Congratulations Brooke! You are going to crush this next chapter of your life! As someone who graduated 4 years ago from university (wow hard to even believe it) I can tell you that the real world is a crazy, cool, bittersweet, rollercoaster of a place to be in. I thought college was the best and nothing could top it but working in a job you are passionate about, with a team you care about, and waking up everyday and looking forward to your job is an amazing feeling. And if you don’t have those feelings towards your job, it is okay! Trust me. You’ll have that feeling, just keep searching for it. No one expects you to figure it all out right after college. Take your time. Discover who you are and enjoy the ride. 💜
so proud of you Brooke! I'm a junior in college, and am interviewing for summer internships right now, but have absolutely no idea what I'm going to be doing after I graduate, whether that be going to grad school, law school, or going straight into the workforce. I'm excited to see this new chapter in your life! wishing you all the best!
Graduating Graduate School in a few weeks and I found so much validation in your video! It’s such a scary time and a lot is happening but you are gonna kill it!! Hope your wrist feels better
It's funny how I got emotional while watching your video. We are literally at the same place right now. Found a professional jobs, moving city, finding a new place to live, etc. Even thought we don't know each other, it's like if I knew you! Big congrats !
Moving to Boston for work was one of the most life changing things I did post grad. I learned a lot about myself and I def prefer the suburbs. I work up on the Wilmington Burlington line now and couldn’t be happier. Your going to a great area just be super mindful when you’re picking places to look for apartments about the traffic patterns. That’s like the most mom advice I can give but my work exit to Summerville is 15 miles and takes 45 mins minimum on a week day during rush hour
i’ve been watching you for so many years and i too feel like it was the other day that you announced where you were going to college. congrats on the new job and new adventure!!!! for some encouragement: college was by far one of the best times of my life and the transition after graduating was hard because i missed being with my friends all the time but work life can also be fun especially if you like your job. you’ll definitely miss college (believe me) but you’ll do so many great things which will also be so exciting!
I’m 24, I’m married, my husband and I both have good, stable, full-time jobs, and we have a one year old. I do not have my crap together, and I do not know where we are headed in life. I’m not sure anybody does.
The first video that I ever watched of you was when you announced that you were going to attend UGA. 4 years later, this video is so surreal to see that you'll now be stepping into the next phase of life. I'm currently a Junior and will be in your shoes next year! You have inspired me so much during the past few years and I'm very thankful for that. So so proud of you and congratulations! Hope the next chapter of life is even more amazing
Girl, I related so hard to this, and it got me emotional. I also graduate from undergrad in a few weeks, and literally have no idea where the time has gone. Congrats on your job, that's amazing. I will be heading to graduate school and the transition is gonna hit me like a truck, but I'm so ready
I’m so happy that you’re figuring out life and taking yourself on a new journey! Your words in this video are very reassuring for me because I’m 23 and I’ve been at community college trying to get my associate degree since 2014. Thus far, I’ve dealt with many hard prerequisite classes and I’m still the only one of my friends who haven’t transitioned to a university, which is very discouraging for me. Hearing you say that everyone has their own path is reassuring me that I’m on the right path (even if it has taken me 5 years lol), so thank you for those kind words. Love you Brooke!
This video really spoke to me and my feelings! Also a senior in college with no set plans yet but definitely lots of excitement about what could be next and hoping that the next few years in my life are even more amazing than these past four years of college have been!
I graduated last May from UGA and moved to Atlanta and chose to live alone too! It has been the best decision I’ve made, and you will learn so much about yourself! I can’t wait to see the young adult content coming soon!
I’m a year out of college now & I was a lot like you when I graduated! Having no idea what’s going to happen. But you’re going to Kill it! Professional life is not nearly as scary as it seems when you are working in the industry you love! I’m excited to follow and share in this experience with you!!! Love ya! Keep killin it! 🤘🏼💛
I graduated last May (started working a month later) and it’s definitely a weird but great transition that I’m still getting used to. My biggest piece of advice is to not compare yourself to others (especially friends) because there are so many life paths after college that people choose, but you have to do what’s best for you. Everybody tries to make it look like a super easy and fun transition, but we’re all struggling a little lol.
So happy for you girl! If it helps, I just started my first full-time job and I'm still finishing up my senior year in college so its been even scarier for me. If I can do it you can definitely do it sis!
I love you brooke :)
ahhh so excited for your future!!!!!
Congratulations!!! This is so exciting! Saw your tweet about buying everyone drinks at the bar. Lmaooo I paid for everyone’s dinner. I just found you through this video but I also work in the tech industry just outside of Boston! Boston is great city and you'll love it here

Congraaaats Brooke so so so happy for you and I'm also a college senior moving across the country so I feel ya girl in the retrospection area
Brooke, I'm so happy for you!! Watching this gave me such feels because I was just in the place you're in a year and a half ago. LOVE YOU!!
you're such a genuine youtuber! can't wait for your next chapter in life
I'm so excited to see a college youtuber actually talk about getting a job upon graduation! It makes you so much more relatable to the rest of us who are in similar positions. I'm a senior in college graduating soon and I'm currently applying to grad school, so hopefully I'll start in august!
You go girl!!!!
I truly feel this Brooke! I am so excited for the next steps, the fear is just kind of hitting right now because graduation is so close and everything will be so different.
your makeup looks bomb
Are you gonna keep doing gals on the go while you’re in Boston?
I am going to pray that your stress melts away. This is super exciting wishing you the best in this new adventure!!
I've looked up to you for so long and I'm so proud of all you've accomplished so far!!! Keep killin' it
My semester is over in 2 weeks so I understand the fear and the nerves. Just know you’re not alone, I think we’re all feeling this way. Excited to follow where you go from here! xoxo
Congratulations!! So happy for you
So proud of you Brooke! Have been watching since you were in highschool. You are amazing!!
love your content can't wait to see what's next! I'm also a senior in college so this vlog was very relatable for me.
Best wishes on your new chapter.💐🌻🌷
I can't wait to see all the Boston vlogs
Brooke , your so inspiring and your going to kill it on your next phase in life .
It has been so cool watching your videos the past four years and being the same age because even though we've never met, I feel like we've shared the most exciting experiences together! Can't wait to watch your grown up vlogs! 💗
So proud of you and you’re going to do amazing things !!!!!
do u have to meet sales targets?
You have such a great head on your shoulders Brooke! I’m 32 now married with 3 kids and post grad is some of the best and challenging years! You’ll do great and enjoy the adventure!
So happy for you Brooke, you deserve everything! I love the fact that you chose a job next to youtube. Super excited to see your future content✨❤️
I graduated a year ago and I STILL am working on my post grad path. I finally got a position in my field and I’m so ecstatic.
Live Fearless girl!! You got this and God is with you in everything!
This makes me so genuinely happy. Congrats!!! I really hope I run into you in Boston hahaha I’ve been watching your videos for like 5 years!!
so excited for this growing opportunity for you!! love your videos and the podcast ! x
Mary Yager love this!!! 🙌🏻 honestly such an important message.
been watching since you were in high school, it's been so awesome to see you go through college and grow! I can't wait to see the awesome things you're gonna do and the amazing person you'll become!!
You and that cast are giving me life, no shade intended! 💕
LOL, I really relate to this right now. I am also 22 and about to graduate in a couple of days. Thank you for being so transparent about how you are feeling and everything! Love your videos.
you're going to kill it #girlboss !!! go dawgs !!!
That’s like the most mom advice I can give but my work exit to Summerville is 15 miles and takes 45 mins minimum on a week day during rush hour
so proud of you!! im also going to school for marketing & would LOVE to see how work treats you / how you love your job!!
i’ve been watching you for so many years and i too feel like it was the other day that you announced where you were going to college. congrats on the new job and new adventure!!!!
for some encouragement: college was by far one of the best times of my life and the transition after graduating was hard because i missed being with my friends all the time but work life can also be fun especially if you like your job. you’ll definitely miss college (believe me) but you’ll do so many great things which will also be so exciting!
I’m 24, I’m married, my husband and I both have good, stable, full-time jobs, and we have a one year old. I do not have my crap together, and I do not know where we are headed in life. I’m not sure anybody does.
That is so true, we think that we have everything together but we really don"t, and people really need to own up to that.
SO proud of you!! You have been such a big inspiration of mine, I am so happy I came across your youtube vids! Here's to the next chapter xo!!
This video really spoke to me and my feelings! Also a senior in college with no set plans yet but definitely lots of excitement about what could be next and hoping that the next few years in my life are even more amazing than these past four years of college have been!
yeah brooke!! we are all so happy for you and can't wait to see where this channel goes. from college to the working world
I graduated last May from UGA and moved to
Atlanta and chose to live alone too!
Love this video and congratulations on your job!! As a recent December graduate it’s great to hear it’s okay to not have it all figured out!
so proud of how far you've come brooke!!!
