- The impressive Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli challenge for the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup took a big step forward today with the reveal of a first set of new generation foils on the starboard arm plus the addition of a new mast on their aesthetically stunning AC75. But it was not just about looks, today in Cagliari we started to see the enormous potential and power of the new boat in a solid breeze that topped out with gusts at 25 knots.

I love these new boats.
Good to see you guys testing new equipment on Prada
Mi preoccupa perche ci stò credendo troppo !!! Dai Luna Rossa 🌜portiamola in Italia la Brocca 💚🤍❤
It might just be me, but I get the impression all the new boats appear to be faster and more stable, generally more sorted. Obviously I am hoping that I am right as this should lead to some great racing, the last rounds were a bit hit and miss.
I hope the same; anyway, in the last edition, LR was quite competitive at the beginning (sure, NZ then became unstoppable), in any case 7-3 it wasn't that bad, they were simply better.
We don't have to forget the "regatta area" also (sorry, my English is not good, I hope these words make sense), which I don't know (I'm not a great sailing expert), but I presume it gave some advantage to NZ. 🍺
@@lazios Your English good enough, Sailing home waters always advantageous. But The short courses sailed and these boats being lifted clear of the surface does reduce their advantage. Having said that I am quite sure the NZ team would have known that light airs were most likely and designed their boat accordingly.
Designed to get up onto foils quicker. As for stability remember most boats on their old foils so will be stable. Check out new Alinghi & Ineos less stable ATM on their new race foils. Early days
@@TerraNova9147 ?Yep you are right, I was a bit premature with my remark, I had missed the bit that the boats were running on their old foils, only cottoned on in last four days.
Looking awesome, 2024 lv and Ac37 going to be sensational
Looks like good progress.
Amazing tech..
Wow 😳
La furbata più grande è che montando un solo foils gli altri due mancanti potranno essere diversi senza andare contro il regolamento.....👏 geniale
Per regolamento hanno 3 wing che possono installare ma il design non può essere completamente diverso:
AC technician regulations 4.10
"The second and third new AC75 Class Yacht foil wings declared by a Competitor must have an identical Version A design to their first declared new AC75 Class Yacht foil wing. Those second and third new foil wings must also retain the same immutable portion as the first declared new foil wing throughout AC37."
Si può modificare del 20 per cento non poco.....
finalmente le nuove scarpette! IT❤LRPP
Infatti👍
Sempre in acqua , Luna Rossa , sempre veloce verso il sogno ............
oh my god that boat is a killer
it is beautiful

❤BUON VENTO 🌊
40kts on water is scary fast & similar to 400 mph on land
Hmm shall I wear Prada or Pirelli today
Looks a lot like the old kiwis foil!
not really
mi sembra alzare molta acqua con questi nuovi foil speriamo bene
seems they have copied a foil from wing foiling as in that market most development (with trial and error) takes place
The kiwis are hungry for italian pasta nom nom nom
A what horrendous cost is all this? Madness!
Not sure what you're referring to...?
You know a lot about luxury accessories and bags. It is obvious that you have conducted due diligence and the comparison information with the United States is very rich... I live in New York, thank you very much. I like *luxdups*
She’s the one to beat
Do you mean in the Challengers.
I do not understand....Theres only one to beat and thats the defender who sits like a spider in his web....watching...waiting...
@@johnmartin7158Bruce means Italy will be the challenger for the 37th AC ,I have no doubts they will be the challenger also.
Agree. Barring a huge surprise I think they will be the challengers as well. Let’s hope Max Sirena has the balls to replace Spithill and Bruni with Tita and Gradoni
Si vabbè poi andiamo in gara coi kiwi e prendiamo mazzolate
Finalmente in acqua❤
Tradurre prego...
stand on the shore use no crew remote control
SPEED doesn't makeup for what we've LOST
NO CREW NO SAIL CHANGES NO SPINNAKER RUN'S
They are going faster than the wind down wind so a spinnaker would slow them down . Would you rather see horses in Nascar too ?
Boats still look super ugly 🤮 Fubar 🤦♂️
You must be british
Thank you for the info. That’s why if I have the chance I will only buy my bags in Paris or even in London#luxdups
