When i first watched this movie in quarantien it changed me since barbershops where closed and i always get a haircut after about 6 or 7 months and i had just had it a few feeks before the shut down i decided to let it grow like the dude and had it like that for about a year and a half and got a green jacket and some v necks dark green and white already had some shorts like light khakis and sand green, got beige pajama pants, i already had some ray ban style sunglasses and walked around in old sandals, dressed like that for a while and even went bowling, and i still do dress like that from time to time when i dont feel like putting much effort into an outfit and im definitely thinking about letting my hair grow again after rewatching the movie
damn i'm kind of surprised how many outfits the dude has now thinking about it, i would think of him more as a uniform dresser, always wearing the same jackets, pants etc. i love donny's style the most all the rayon bowling shirts etc
I just rewatched the first fast and furious movie and I feel like there's a lot of inspiration to pull from the movie you should definitely check it out
Totally!!! If I remember correctly there’s a decent amount of overlap between fast and furious and Y2K fashion that’s been pretty popular the past year. Thanks for the recommendation!!
By analyzing anything about the dude, you denigrate his dudeness. The dude is not to be discussed or analyzed in any way. The dude is only to be observed.
Lmao that’s such a hard question becauseI’m in a style crisis right now and there’s so much I’m influenced by. I guess a few people I always am inspired by is Hiroki Nakamura, John Mayer, and any 90’s celeb paparazzi pictures. For films I’d say westerns like the new Scorsese movie, Aliens, and Near Dark. I’m really influenced by westernwear, vintage military, and traditional Japanese fabrics.
