Your C2C quarter paenl insprired me to make one useing all of my numerous little balls of left over project yarn. Mine measured 40 by 40 inches. I ended up giving it to my 94 year old mother to use as a lap blanket. She is still living on hor own and doing all of the things. Lol. Thank you for all of your kindness and inspirations to keep crocheting.
I loved every minute! The longer the better, lol. Love spending time with you while I crochet away 💜

Those plastic bags with the handles can be found at the dollar tree. They now come in large and xxl sizes and I have found them in the aisle with ziplock bags. Or they can be in the home section for storage

Loved the video, Juan! I had to laugh when you said that you stop in at the "yarn section" at your $1.25 tree! My local store's "yarn section" is a cardboard box on the bottom shelf and sometimes it has yarn!😂

I love that cooler of variegated I usually buy my yarn at the thrift store if I can find it that where I get my crochet stuff it’s never the colours I would love to crochet with but I buy when I see it and save it aside until I get enough to make something

Hi Juan. Could you please do a demo on the Apache tears blanket. Using double crochet instead of single crochet. You did mention that’s the way you were going to modify it. You don’t have to make a whole blanket a tutorial on a small section so we can get started. I know there were several people interested and I have bought the yarn along time ago, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
Hi Bonnie 😊 I believe (and please don't quote me) that Juan may do the Apache tears in either fall or early winter as it will be seasonally appropriate 😊. I myself can't wait either 💙

I’m making solid granny squares I have 3 so far not sure what I’m going to make with them but just wanted to make as many as possible they’re only 5 rounds each 😊😊😊
For a sweetner, try Monk Fruit. I am diabetic also. I actually don't mind Stevia, but monk fruit is not bad either. You may find over time, you can e!imitate sweeter all together. I hope you find the sweetener that makes you happy.

I like truvia sweetener. It's sugar free. I think it's the best one. Give it a try.
I have stevia it's the only one that doesn't make me sick

I have done the same, with the sweetener search. I feel like stevia or monk fruit is probably better for me. But they don't seem to sweeten enough. I keep going back to Equal, or the great value dupe. BTW, thanks for reminding me that I have to get more creamer! 😂😂😂
None of the Dollar tree near me doesn’t have yarn ans there are several
I went to the dollar tree and broke my rule and bought more yarn. They have reduced the amount they have ☹️

Stevia is the only natural non-calorie sweetener I know of. And you can get it in liquid or powder form and flavors. NORO yarns…yum!!! Love the pattern you decided to make with the yarn. Is it your pattern? The Sirens MAL sounds really cool! Not familiar with it.

I like sweetener made with monk fruit. Suppliers here in Canada are probably different but I’m sure you could find something where you are.

Juan, you amaze me you have so many things to finish. Where do you find the time😊 I do like this squares you’re making with the purple and white you’re using the big twist I was just wondering why you don’t use the big twist value yarn that has over 1000 yards🤔 is the yarn you’re using softer I’ve only used the big twist value. I’ve never bought any 😂😂other type of big twist.😜
I wanted to use the bigger balls of big twist but they are very limited in colorway. Not all colors are available. Thank you for your kind words

I have found sucralose to be most palatable for me. Stevia tastes bitter, allulose isn't sweet enough and Agave gives me diarrhea. (Sorry, TMI)
I hate artificial sweeteners, the ones with aspartame can cause cancer with long time use (sorry the medical in me comes out every now and then) but I have found something that tastes just like real sugar, but u only need half of what u would normally use. It's Splenda naturals, it's Not like Splenda, it's made with a form of Stevia but is much better than regular stevia...I kno my comment sounds crazy 😂
@@DoubleCrochet-DIANA-the only stevia I can stand. Most things with stevia then are too stinking sickening sweet. 🤢 don’t use any aspartame and rarely if ever Splenda. I’d rather use saccharin then those 2
