I couldn’t stand William until book 9, but Charles’ portrayal is so good, I actually like him now!
Well, Jamie did say that William is spoiled, bad mannered etc
They raised him that way…Jamie at Helwater had no control of how the boy was raised….if Jamie & Claire had raised him, he would have been a different kid altogether
I've been a fan of Charles Vandervaart since I saw him on Murdoch Mysteries. So happy that he landed the role of William: so far, I have really liked his performance. I am proud to say he is a fellow Canadian.
He’s a handsome devil… he’s nailed the accent. Yay, Canada
I was shooketh when I heard his real accent! He does a very good British one!
He's a great William!!! Love his story so far and look forward to the rest of the season & Season 8!!!
Brilliant William, we agree!
He also turns his head to the side like Sam does as Jamie.
Well spotted!
Even more subtle, watch his eyes. Very like Jamie as he reacts to situations.
He did have a nice life in England, but I think he can be compared to Ian. Ian had such a thirst for adventure back when we met him in season 3, running away from home to spend time with his exciting uncle, getting kidnapped, and then when he had a chance to go home, refusing to do so. Then real life happened. Mistakes, heartbreak, loss, and now Ian's a fairly well-rounded mature young man. William hasn't had that growth yet. He's got to go through some crap before he realizes how good he had it in England.
Absolutely, it'll make him appreciate his nice manor house a lot more!
I absolutely love how Ian's character has developled. John has potrayed Ian so well from wide-eyed teen to a kind, strong and badass young man.
A Cracking Interview with Charles, I’m very impressed with his portrayal of Jamie Fraser’s Son, being a long time veteran of ‘Outlander’ from day one, the series has kept me enthralled for over a decade, Sam & Caitriona’s portrayal of Jamie & Claire is just phenomenal, since Charles’s debut in S7. I’m definitely seeing a young Jamie more and more with each episode, E4. Is stunning throughout, Williams fall from his horse and his ensuing ordeal was so realistic I felt quite faint, yes he is a Fraser without a doubt, I believe William will also inherit a couple of Jamie’s quirky mannerisms for sure, I’ll be disappointed if one of them isn’t the famous finger tapping when he is deep in thought, or plotting his next move! thanks 🙏 for sharing a delightful interview “👌”
Hello Bernice, I just saw this video and just wondered what your comments on it would be. And there it is your wonderfull comment, as always.
I think I will have to wait a year or more until I am able to buy the DVD of S. 7 and watch these wonderful episodes.
@@21stellaluna Hello there, lovely to hear from you , yes I chanced upon this charming interview with Charles you can see he’s a very seasoned young actor, his portrayal of Jamie’s son is excellent it’s a shame he is entering the series when it’s coming to its conclusion in S8. he’s a great asset to the Outlander story:) I’m sorry you have to wait again to catch up on the latest unfolding events they are going to be very exciting looking at the spoilers on YT. If the rumours are true it’s a long while to wait for second half of S7. not airing until, 2024. 🙀 gosh I hope I can survive another droughtlander 🤔 cheers 👋 until next time 🤗
William ist auch Linkshänder und er wird wie Jamie Seekrank.
Hinzu kommt die typische Fraser Wut. Rot anlaufen und dann laß es krachen.
So wird das auch in den Büchern beschrieben. 👌💕👍👍💯
Hi Bernice. I knew it was your comment when you sent me the photo from the channel. You have a unique way of commenting, I would identify you out of thousands.🤗 Just Bernice. Otherwise I agree with you and look forward to EP 4 when I can see a little more from William. Great Interview. 👍
@@GalwayGirl1 Oh! my goodness Galway a compliment indeed, you’ll not be disappointed inE4. I can guarantee, don’t expect any spoilers from me, I’ve paused at a crucial point so must close 😘 by the way I’d love to know what @heikethielcke reply is saying if you wouldn’t mind obliging! thank you 🙏 🤗xxx
He is the perfect William!!
Agreed!
Yes I agree Mr. Charles. Mr Charles is brilliant and so special and wonderful acting and so lovely person too
He was a delight to interview!
William Ransom has gotten a double dose of great mannerisms, inherited biologically from Jamie and the conditioned environment process by Lord John and the Grey brothers. The Grey men all being men of honor.
Love it, so true.
I'm a book fan Charles is great as William!
Such a great casting choice!
Charles is a perfect William, WOW
EXCELLENT casting!
Fabulous casting for William, well done Charles!
I just love Charles he is fantastic as william
The beginning is funny, clearly they haven´t read the books and it´s not lallybrock but Lallybroch.
This is true, no clue what's coming next!
Precioso❤ muy bien buscado y seleccionado
Excellent interview. I have always hated book William. Spoilt brat as far as I'm concerned. However, Charles seems such a nice person, I may soften a tad. 🤷 We'll have to wait and see.
Jamie fraser cant stay out of trouble
And, oh, what a life.
Charles is very cute!!
Disappointment that he did not have red hair
It's clear you two haven't read the books.
That is correct 📺
I read them all- you haven’t missed much in the first half of book seven, which they zoomed through. 😆
Who cares? I didn't read the books, but I liked the series. I also didn't read Poldark, and Poldark is my favorite series. I loved Aidan Turner. Sam is handsome as well, but Aidan is gorgeous.😊
@@tkisoutlandish5567 We like keeping the guessing going on the show too! Not so much fun when you know what's going to happen IMHO!
@@patbyrnes3825 I don't. Just that it shows they are talking out the side of their mouths with the speculating.
