      Seriously, there's much more to this than our special superiority, if such exists. The gazelle can tell whether the cheetah is stalking dinner or sauntering home. They simulate the sensory environment of the cheetah and and project a future from it.
      We humans just create longer narratives for our simulations of the world around us and we can get more folds in the tale. What Uncle Joe will say about Cousin Bob's new girlfriend once he meets her won't be repeated in church.

      It depends on the audience. Between two scientists of the same field, they probably wouldn’t want to constantly clarify what they are saying to the other person. But to a general audience, it’s really helpful to be very mindful to not use any words that don’t make sense to someone who hasn’t studied the field. But if it’s necessary to use words like that, you have to clearly define them in layman’s terms.

      The feeling is understanding. You understand why he’s moving his hand up and down (to drink his water). before that he moved his hand up and down similarly for no apparent reason (confusion). It’s not fucking rocket science
