You rocked this tour, Melody. ❤ We have not been here in a few years and it was good to see Peace River again. Glad they are making progress since the Hurricane. Peyton and I kayaked on that river and have pics of lots of gators, turtles and birds. Of course, it was before we were on UA-cam and do not have video. The walk by the river was pretty even with the down trees. Oh my, I jumped when you jumped Melody. Played it back several times and saw the splash but did not see what it was. I am assuming it was a baby gator. Milo was excited to see you back. Mary 💞 Fred
Thousand Trails Peace River in Wauchula, Florida is one of our favorite campgrounds. We have 2 sons (10 and 12) and they absolutely love the activities as much as we do. We try to spend the holidays there (winter) away from the hustle and bustle of the larger cities. LOVE it! We always camp up on top, where there is no sewer, but we found a single 50 amp lot up there! Our fav! We met you at Orlando. Remember us.... big 43 foot class A, 2 homeschooling boys, retired couple, and Kathy quilts in the tent. Melody came over to visit us! Kathy
Hey guys...great video! Melody, you did a fantastic job as tour guide ! Wow, looking for fossils would be cool. I remember finding sharks teeth when I would go with my friend down to her grandparents beach cottage, on the Chesapeake Bay. Very cool. No thank you, on floating down the river there or even going into the water. All it takes is seeing one sign, and its a no, for me. lol......Scared the crap out of me Melody when yo screamed !!! lol I did review the video many times at that part, and I can make out a distrubance in the water where Lou was shooting the camara at. Probably a gator jumped in the water, or he grabbed an Egret or another animal, as a snack to eat, that was in the water ! Your campsite looks nice, aww, Hello sweet Milo !!! Whoa, Lou, cool lookin' haircut there!!!! Thanks for sharing!
We have yet to go to Peace River. Looks like a big activity board. That's a lot of empty sites. Hopefully they get that section up & running soon. Looks like a good stretch of river to drown a worm as well. Not sure I want to hook a gater though. 😅 Melody jumped...lol. Thanks for the tour Melody. And thanks to the camera man. Safe travels you two.

Our pleasure! We advanced the release of this video just for you and Sean. Enjoy this Easter Sunday together. Lou
That was so cute of you guys to mention us. It's so true I(Lou) love to hunt for fossils when we stay there.
It's my fav Florida TT.

I'm glad you remembered the camera man! Be well my friend. Lou
This is in Florida correct?
Yes it is
Could you please say the name of the nearest town in your videos? (I finally figured it out when you said you got your hair cut in Wauchula Lol)
11:10 what does that mean?
This means back into the campsites. Don't pull through across vacant sites because there are shallow unground water lines. Lou
thanks!
