Guys, always great stuff. I keep coming back because I appreciate your authentic perspective on what it means to be a married gay couple from the US living in Mexico. How does the water bill work, and why you don't have AC and the stewed tomato crisis are all very interesting contrasts and provide the color of the place and experience you're living. So I appreciate those for sure. And if you make more deliberate videos for other things, like a trip to Tequilla, or a day in Tlaquepaque, those are great too!

Hope you will post more How To videos like how to set up Rocu in Mexico. There are so many things that are different here like setting up water service, not getting mail, how to open a bank account, which ATM has the lowest fees, do I need a Mexican phone and how to get one, where to shop, Tuesday and Wednesday markets, Amazon USA vs MX, etc., along with hearing more about your Truly Remarkable Life!

I enjoy a balance of both your personal lived experiences and seeing the surroundings. I personally like to see how people live wherever I travel - where they grocery shop, what they eat in restaurants, where they go for walks, what the locals do for entertainment, for exercise, for shared activities. I was happy to learn from a video about Ajijic some time ago that there is a weekly farmers market selling organic fruits and vegetables, something important to me. I also am interested in the various choices of living accommodations, both rentals and purchased homes (houses, condos, other choices). I was fascinated and encouraged to learn about the couple of high-quality assisted living homes there, since I am a 75-yr.-old widow living solo. Do you have city parks where you can go for walks and picnic in the shade? Do you have easy access to healthy take-out food to take with you to the park for a picnic? How much ethnic variety of food can you get in the grocery store and in local restaurants? What is missing in Ajijic that causes you to go into Guadalajara? How much do you need a car to get around Ajijic and Lake Chapala? Is it doable to use taxis or some kind of Uber instead? Is it time for me to stop? (It's three o'clock in the morning - Zzzz . . .
I definitely understand the curiosity about those things. We have answered some in previous videos but we will consider these things when doing future videos.
For quick answers.... you need a car because streets are rough and there are hills. Also, we do have a 20 mile long walking /bike path and many wonderful places to eat, stop and enjoy time. The makecon is excellent (park and boardwalk) and yes... plenty of food by delivery or walk in/carry out. (No fast food). And we go to Guadalajara for curiosity and change... but also Dr's and Entertainment.

Yes - we discuss that in some of earlier videos when we moved here. A friend found it for us while walking their dogs. :-) it's in our "LIfe in Mexico" playlist about a year ago.
