tom, love to know about the farm, history whats all the macinery for, about the quarry, how you met colin etc, sort of q&a. keep it up love the videos 😁
Nice job Tom. Interesting to hear how the rear wheel steer works. A really worthwhile investment in good kit. In the long run it saves so much time, and as we know time is money.
That’s a great trailer Tom just a pity that lovely paint work will get scratched. The way to look at it is if it doesn’t get scratched it’s not making money and I hope it makes plenty for you. A bit of site work would be good to watch. It would bring back happy memories.
You should add a d ring or two on the deck so you can use the winch and a chain to hold down extra buckets. Or get a big clevis so you’re not hooking the hock back on the cable which causes wear where you don’t want it.
The new trailer is a Lovely bit of kit❤ Not too sure about the rear steer, we’ve got a load of new curtain side trailers in work the neW LST long trailers but there’s been a load of problems with the rear steer on them. They are connected to the ABS lead to manage the steer axle when reversing, but have been locking out, so dragging when reversing, and some uneven tyre wear on the steering axles, but great trailers apart from that
I had several 3 axel trailers from Bailey’s a few years ago. The way those axels work is you lock the axle for going backwards if you unlock it, it goes anyway either left or right which ever is the easiest way. When going forward you unlock it and it turns automatically. Making the trailer turn more. You just have to be careful with the rear end of the trailer as it kicks it out.
@@Tomlamb980 What I did and still do. We just have HM trailers now. Is get some one to look at the axel see which way you have to push lever to lock the axel. Then when you know which way it is you push it past the release side to float and leave it there and when ever you go backwards you just need to push it the other way to lock it.
I found myself thinking of Clarkson's farm when your man was steering the trailer the wrong way, except you were the knowledgeable Kaleb, and your man on the tractor was the hopeless Jeremy Clarkson. Thanks for the demo of the steering. I have to say, I was worried for you when you were laying underneath talking about removing that pin. I think you made the right choice operating the JCB while your man was underneath knocking pins out. Moving the controls in the wrong direction could have had dire consequences in that situation.
G'day from the colonies down under AU Been following for a bit now and had a half idea, not sure what your camera setup is but i have a gopro 11 that i've found to be nifty when you need your hands spare you can get mounts for a hat or chest etc also can get magnetic and tripod mounts if you ever wanted to include a timelapse with your shed builds from another angle keep it up 👌
Hi Tom So jealous of all the equipment you have and the jobs you do 😊. Is the farm yours and the equipment? Wish I had a farm like yours. Great with the videos. 👍
Afternoon Tom good to see it's not raining, I was wondering would you ever consider building your own trailer, just a light duty one for on the farm with your 4x4 ?
Nice trailer Tom, keep buying more stuff to keep you distracted from farming 😂 Joking aside, do you need Tachos in the tractors to haul plant like that for commercial gain?
Needs a longer bolt on that handbrake bracket! (3:50) Bolt should come all the way through the nyloc nut otherwise there's no point having the nyloc there.
Hi I'm Trevor and I'm a Subscriber 😹Very Smart Trailer; Very Smart Video. I [predict hours of fun with that. Heavy investment but I'm sure you crunched the numbers.

I will do one day
Nice job Tom. Interesting to hear how the rear wheel steer works. A really worthwhile investment in good kit. In the long run it saves so much time, and as we know time is money.
It does look nice and put to work almost the same day. Thanks Tom....
Tom you are a polymath for sure. Great job with the shed. Great show. Thanks
Better than a polymath -- he's a Farmer!
Mr. Lamb, this build is awesome. Inexpensive and worth the recompense.
Looks shiner than my new tilling in my bathroom 😂
Don't talk about Tom's forehead like that .😂
Non stop on your farm Tom, I am slowly catching up on your vids, cheers!
Enjoy!
Well that answers my question. Thanks Tom.

12:03 great content again you couldn’t resist having a play with the new low loader trailer and get it dirty 😅
Great video Tom already to go definitely looking good 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Paint on that trailer is nicer than a lot of new cars. Can see the structure is very well sorted, nice bit of kit.
Nice one Tom 👌🏼 just thought 💭 Bailey should paint the top deck plates & ramp with that stone chip rubber coating they put on the headboards. 👌🏼
Great to see you care for your trailer before it even goes to work
Get it paying for itself now. 😊
Thank you for the video.

Nice Trailer Mr Lamb.
All the best to you
Thanks for explaining the steering Tom 👍

You can lock it in forward

Excellent Tom you explain things brilliantly
....now that Bullimores lorry was a proper nice colour !👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s was safe or we wouldn’t have done it

G day I just use my iPhone
@@Tomlamb980 fair enough does the trick too.
cheers

Wish I had a farm like yours.
Great with the videos. 👍
Yes and yes
@@Tomlamb980 Awesome 😁.
Great vid Tom, were all loving the content mate 👍
Love your videos mate.
Bloody unreal trailer. WARN Winch added, digger stops, gotta be happy.
Another cool vid from Tom 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Afternoon Tom good to see it's not raining, I was wondering would you ever consider building your own trailer, just a light duty one for on the farm with your 4x4 ?
I’ve build agri trailers already years ago and we still use them on the farm to this day
Great video Tom and a tidy trailer. How long is the flat bed of the trailer and how long is the beaver tail?
Think 32 foot total
Nice trailer Tom, keep buying more stuff to keep you distracted from farming 😂 Joking aside, do you need Tachos in the tractors to haul plant like that for commercial gain?
Yer but we only do agricultural contracting
😊 nice trailer need to
Work it to pay for it 😂
It’s payed for
Why the timber deck rather than all steel checkerplate? Weight?
Timber is less slippy

Can't believe you scratched it! Clean rubber tracks only please 🙃
Sorry to ask really confused how come your doing the pdi (pre delivery inspection) I think, and not Bailey doing it?
Baileys don’t do it the dealers do
Tshirt please with “Tom Lamb says ‘My tractor draw bars are slightly higher than the rest’ (wink wink)”
Lol
I passed the convoy on the a1 and I said out loud that’s Tom Lamb he’s a farmer 😂
😂😂😂
We're did you get the tin nibbler from if you don't mind me asking
It says on it Staikseys I think if you mention me he will give discount
Clarkson: See?? that ain't going anywhere.
May (voice over): But it did go somewhere.
Hammond: Clarkson, you idiot!
Nice trailers but bailey need to rethink those lashing points no good when you got 14 tonner as tracks are cover them
It’s got them on the sides to
Hydraulics are jerky as hell Tom. That near side ramp slammed to the ground and the steering axle is very jumpy. 🤔
I’ve turned the flow rates down now
Big digging job at Colin's place?
Won’t be long
A great video tom
Nice one!
Thanks!

Hi Trevor look forward to your comments most videos
Doubling back onto your winch line is a big no no!!
I don't know if you have "Bed Liner" in the UK but you won't scratch up the pretty on that trailer with that on there.
Never even thought about that
Nice vid tom no rototilt?
Not yet
So the metal part of the bed is there because it’s tougher than wood so why is part of the bed wooden? :)
Stop the tracks slipping when wet
Are you going to move the position of the extractor fan Tom otherwise you’ll have a building full of dust.
Yes
We’ve got 1 of them had it about 2 year, you should see the state of it now 😂
Paint fallen off ?
@@Tomlamb980 no it just gets well used most days !, floors abit bent now and some of the woods are broken out 🙄
One of those diggers going to Colin's house?
Yes the smaller one
Make timelapse videos of projects.
who do you use a tractor to move your equipment and trailer around and not a dump truck ????
Tractor goes places a dump
Truck doesn’t
Is it normal that the customer does the PDI for agricultural equipment? For cars, the dealership does it!
Not normal but I’m just checking to make sure
Work buds
sounds like u need another pit then tom lamb
I think you need a little more practice with the loading ramps lol
Why didn't the dealer perform the PDI?
Cause I got it direct
Another video!?!? We’re being spoilt
hey Tom, no sound 🙉
All ok my end
All good for me
Took a while for it to work for me
