I am a bit confused. Do you pressurize them or vacuum? Because these are totally opposite actions and you mentioned both.

Great video!!! I've been using the Ikelite DL200 housing with the Sony A1 for over a year now, and unfortunately, it's been quite fostrating for me, for many reasons. However, the one that stands out the most, and surprisingly doesn't receive much attention, is the dome sharpness. Despite efforts to work around other shortcomings like unfriendly buttons, vacuum design flaws, buoyancy issues, faulty TTL, and difficulties with opening and closing, one undeniable problem persists-the acrylic domes, both large and small, deliver only about 40% sharpness in the middle. Even with the best lenses, the results are consistently disappointing across all f-stops, especially noticeable at f/8 or higher.

Great video! I'm looking for a housing and it is very hard to find hands-on reviews for the different types. Keep it up!

Thanks for your video! It's nice to see your detailed comparison.
I was surprised to hear you comment on the weight of the D750 setup, considering you have been using it for 3 years. If you tweak your housing to be neutrally buoyant and balanced it shouldn't weigh on your biceps at all. It should float perfectly in front of you...

Got an large first gen hugyfot vision 5 setup, was hell heavy but under water was like 10-20gr. Was usefull for timed palanquée shots to just leave still in midwater. When you have strong underwater currents large setups act like an kite and better to attach yourself and use an hook to help you! Now i'm switching for seafrogs after trying them in Philippines. Was surprise by how the quality has come not yet as same but closer to competition. Except for strobes have a doubt but seafrogs sf-01 are different from older ones I'il give it a try next week!

The weight of Ikelite is already extreme. when travelling by air, one appreciates a lighter case. And when you're drift diving in the Maldives, you appreciate a compact, high-quality housing. Even in the pool, you often lift the housing out of the water to show pictures to the customer. Ikelite is no longer an option for me. I love my Italian Isotta made of aluminium, which is only slightly more expensive than the Ikelite.

Interesting report. I have also had an Ikelite housing. It was not bad. I have now switched to Isotta. Even smaller than the aluminium Nauticam. I am very satisfied. I also have a video for both housings. (English subtitles)
