Anyone know how good is it when it comes down to replacement parts, I like my things easy to repair.
I call bullshit. Portable implies you can easily move this lift around. Clearly it's anchored into the concrete which makes it NOT PORTABLE.
You're absolutely right! MaxJax does need to be bolted down when in use! However, MaxJax comes equipped with an anchor system that features threaded inserts for your floor. These allow you to very easily unbolt the columns and roll them out of the way for storage - making it a great portable two-post lift system! To increase the portability, you can also order as many of the anchor kits as you'd like to accommodate a variety of lifting locations and configurations.
