Great looking knife. Steel is a bit of a mystery. Knifecenter claims it's stainless and SMKW claims it's 1095. We'll know for sure when someone tries to force a patina on the blade.
I like that one a lot, its like a little bar of gold with a nice hollow ground blade inside 😆 I like B&S I just picked up a little black plastic lockback from them, very light weight...Thanks Mr B 👍

I really like the look of this knife Have two Sodbuster Jrs that I love so I have been planning to look at these when I get to the store and perhaps buy them for my grandkids

Very nice Sodbuster, nice sleek design on the handle and the backlock is very handy. I like 1095 carbon steel on my sodbusters, this is surely one to look out for.
The 1095 is great, I already have a slight patina from cutting an orange 🍊

This would have definitely been the knife for me before I switched 100% over to traditional knives( the definition/standards I follow mean pocket clips = not traditional), because it is exactly what I had in mind before getting sick of everything the modern knife world has to offer.
I rarely ever carry pocket knives over 3.25" these days either , so like my sodbuster JR if I took the clip off this I'd still rarely use it.
I can't think of a single negative thing to say about it, it just came a few years to late for me.
I like sod knives, but only lockback ones. Does the lockback version come in a larger size?
Yes it does. They offer a large black or yellow lockback
Thanks for the vid. How would you say the short clip performs as compared to the 'traditional' longer clip.
This clip on particular is very strong so it isn’t going anywhere. I like it, but if I had to choose I’d go with a longer clip. It just feels more natural

I have one in Black and This clip is different than anything I’ve seen. But I actually prefer it now. Love the clip and it’s a great knife. I’m definitely going to get one for my Father. Who is a knife maker. Great knife!
