As a fellow Honda Pilot owner myself I must say that this video was highly detailed and pleasurably informative. Thanx playa
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
Your video and commentary are top-flight quality. I've got the same car, owned since new. Getting ready to watch your suspension work. Thanks indeed!
Appreciate it! Thanks for checking out the channel.
Thank you for posting. Your video is very good and easy to see and understand
Glad the video was useful. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the education.
Thanks for watching the video!
Your video was extremely helpful to me and I referred to it multiple times while changing the blend door actuator on my 2003 Pilot. Thanks for posting this!
Great to hear! Thanks for watching the video.
Just wondering if you know what the part number is for the actuator
Yes, the part number is 79160-S0X-A01.
7mm socket
8mm socket
#2 Phillips
I never undo the metal bar completely. I just undo the left side and loosen the right to swing the bar out of the way. I never undo the kick panel
Think I may have misaligned my old one. I put a new one on And still can’t get cold air to pass through. Rear ac blows cold just fine and I’ve never had an issue with cold air coming out front vents till that actuator went bad
Hmm. Does it sound like the door is moving? Viewing the blue cable from the passenger's side inside the car, it should be pulled to the left when the temp is switched to low.
@@carapprenticeIt seems like it’s moving but the air coming out is extremely hot. I’ll check it again in the morning to see if that cable in the engine bay is facing the wrong way. I do recall touching that cable before messing with the actuator
What was the verdict? I just replaced the blend door actuator and I'm having the same issue with hot air blowing, but there is cool air when idle.
@@lindsaycason3798 Are you possibly low on refrigerant? The first video in this series might be useful: ua-cam.com/video/XoMIJ2Mr0FU/v-deo.html
