I just discovered Andreas last November 2018 and have not stopped listening to him ever since. Great talent. I listen to his covers and originals just as much as, if not more than, the commercial artists that we've all come to know of through the major labels. This is one area UA-cam has proven to be useful.

Couldn't agree more. Chills every time! I would love a version identical to this minus the obnoxiously loud judges. Not to say they're BAD judges, but at least save the fan-girling for after the performance you know? Lol his voice is fucking magical

Agreed. And half of the reason was they were just surprised he was good because of his appearance. Hot people always act above less attractive (actually not aways, because I think generalising is completely inappropriate, but the shallow attractive people at least).

It's not that he didn't give a fuck, he obviously felt uncomfortable when they walked towards him. He's a kind of introverted person and standing on stage was challenging anyway even without those stupid judges lacking of any empathie that just didn't understand that they got too close.
You can see how he started to turn away from them (to the left) when they stood in front of him, torn apart between the wish to escape and the need to finnish his audition.
This man has his own demons to fight, but on the other hand there's no passion and emotion without suffering. A true artist needs his demons, I guess...

This is a rendition of Rocketman I never knew I needed till I found it. Elton John's original is like fine red wine, while this feels like a warm glass of brandy. Both are full of 'spirit' and really enjoyable in their particular emotion and ambience.
look for the version whiter shade of pale he sung in the voice, it was the first time in the history of the voice the audience wanted a repeat. 😍

BodycountXs Nuja, vom Kümmert halt. Ist eben doof, dass man mit einer so begnadeten Stimme noch arge psychische Probleme hat, bzw. sehr labil ist.

phreakii, I don‘t think so. The Eurovision audience has different expectations from a song compared to the Voice audience. Case and point: Belgium 2014 - he was the Voice winner of that year, yet didn‘t even qualify for the final. However, Michael Schulte and Iveta Mukuchyan were both on the Voice of Germany one year apart yet kept that part of their history hidden when going into Eurovision - and did pretty well!

Tolga Leib die coaches sind nicht nur da um die talente stimmlich zuverbessern. Es geht darum die talente auch in die richtige Richtung zu lenken und ihnen Tipps mitzugeben wie sie das showbiz überstehen. Eine Sache die Andreas dringend nötig hatte

He just didn't want to go that way! Why can't people understand and accept that he wants to be left alone and play the small concerts he likes to do? People are so selfish.

In the case of Voice & X-Factor, the "prize" is a to have a studio album made. No longer a difficult or costly thing to do on one's own. The obligations of the winner are unbelievable: Universal gets 50% of record sales, and a percentage of sales of records made BEFORE the contest, 20% of all merch, books performances, etc. Perhaps worse than the financial extortion is the loss of control of your artistic and commercial control- they MUST be your manager, which is a conflict of interest, and costs you another 20%.
This is hands down one of the best covers ever. Obviously his voice is amazing so that helps but its because he made it his own. There is nothing worse than a cover that sounds IDENTICAL to the recorded version and he has made so many tweaks and adjustments and nails it!!

Simon Heimbuchner I am aware of that but he is not a regular on the radio. Most of the real talent I have seen does not fit into a marketing category so is seen on shows like this and inevitably UA-cam.
Since record sales are more and more going the way of online radio is becoming less and less relevant. Satellite radio more prevalent because you can choice what you want to listen to.
The marketed and programmed music is what is played on the radio. Studio singers with a great deal of producing to make them sound good but no Joe Crockers, Stevie Wonders, etc. They usually have the same "runs" instead of singing lyrics because they can't interpret a song like musicians of old.
