- Here's a short walk from the Blue Rock Resort. There are a few sari-sari stores and local food stalls nearby. It's cheaper to drink at the sari-sari store I hung out at if you're broke.I was trying to buy a turtle necklace while drinking beer and a crazy woman threw a concrete block. It almost took out my foot but I'm ok. (Not even close.)

Trade Dollars were used in these regions including China, they were made of silver. If real as you mention being heavy they are worth about $100 in mint condition over $3000.

I know what to look for now with the coins. Its all about where they were produced!! The mint is key and can be located on the Morgans......I will always look at a coin now! some can go into the thousands. those you seen didnt look real but I dont know a lot about every coin.

when I visited The Blue Rock I literally had a dozen of those vendors gathered around me. Did exactly what you did and had a nice chat with them. My wife comes back and starts shoeing them off and I was like hey we got a little business negotiation going on!! The only problem was they would start running after me when the seen me for the rest of my vacation. Didnt bother me as much as it did the wife. lol
