- The 2007 Witcher game is being remade by a company called Rebel Wolves. They are made up of former CD Projekt Red employees. In a recent interview the CEO talked about technical changes that they need to make to the outdated original but CD Projekt Red have proudly gone down the ESG hole and will no doubt want that element thrust into the game too!

Second of all: info about removing cards with Geralt's lovers comes from Edge's article, not from developers. It's private opinion of modern day "journalist" what in his opinion should be removed (based on Reddit topic since 2022). Third of all: CD Projekt Red have ESG crap video on their site. But until we see it's implemented in games, it doesn't mean nothing. It can be just tactical, shield against attacks from woke media and twitter losers. It can be also considered in some capacity, but we don't know yet it will be forced against narration and gameplay or just small parts in background (like Ofir's traders etc). I worked on the original The Witcher game while I was at Atari, Inc. in 2007. Shame they're going to change it, one of the directives while working on it was to keep it true to the books.

Problem is people ARE paying for it. Look how much GOW: R and Spider Man 2 sold. THIS will sell too because of all the "Muh Witchy 3" People. Even Saints Row sold some. People are not standing for what they say they do. Even playing it for free is still playing it. They still get time and numbers from that. Their morals slip as soon as something becomes discounted or free. And don't get me started on the "Day one" people. I have the GOW: R game on my PS5 because it came bundled with it. It was the only PS5 I could find at the time. It's been there for over a year and I still haven't played it. I honestly have no need to.

Asshole devs are "updating" old games to remove "problematic" content, sometimes removing content people literally paid for yet didn't receive compensation or refunds for what was lost (look up what happened with Skullgirls). Some of their "free updates" have already caused bugs and other problems. They removed exploits they people have been using for years to mess around and have fun in-game. And they still haven't bothered to fix all the quests, including "From Ofier's Distant Shores" which is bugged and blocking me from getting Platinum unless I replay the entire game and all DLC again.

I only listen to old music or newly released music from legacy artists. I do not take part in modern culture. I highly recommend everyone play the original. Its a little outdated (gameplay wise), but it'll be familiar to anyone who's played classic Bioware games like KOTOR and Jade Empire, since it uses the same engine.

Jade Empire was amazing! The fact they were able to make that game so good on hardware that old is a serious accomplishment. Bioware in the early 2000's was one of the best RPG devs of all time.

i would recommend arkham origins cause it's a must, the rest are kinda outdated and arkham knight is the newest but kills the pacing with it's stupid tank. they make you puzzle your tank up the building, awkwardly drive on roof top to charge a generator, MULTIPLE TIMES lol
