"Death shall come and bear your Eyes" is my first "creative" work. Creative in the sense that melody and sequence of chords are "mine". Mine in the same measure as mine is the sunlight, the air we breathe, or the fire dancing on these lamps. In fact, the melody is strongly inspired by traditional Russian, Turkish and southern Italian music;
The title is a more or less poetic translation of a line from Cesare Pavese's poem, "Verrà la morte e avrà i tuoi occhi," among the last ones he wrote before committing suicide.
Dedicated to Her whose Dark Eyes took my happiness away forever
