Was fortunate to see the classic Motorhead lineup of Kilmister, Clarke & Taylor in 1982 & "Fastway" in the 80's too! "Fast" Eddie Clarke, what an amazing guitarist. #RIP "Fast" Eddie.
You say all this about eddie yet your channel shows mostly rap shit.
Ah Motorhead fan for ever...this is sad...end of an era...gone is my youth!
Fast Eddie. An absolute legend! I will be watching with a large drink to remember the great man!
The original hard rockers! Lived their lives without compromise! Thanks for braving the cold Paul 👍🏻
Rest in Peace Fast Eddie, thanks for such wonderful music cheers Paul.
Don’t forget Lemmy Phill and Wurzal

@@billkeaveney1526 why?
@@jacestephenweatherall1732 it's my post not yours. If you want to place your memory make your own post. Thank you.
Saw Motorhead many times with the original line up too. So sad that the trio are no longer with us but their music lives on!
Same here legendary guitar player Eddie miss them all Lemmy& Phil
Brilliant guitarist was fast Eddie Clark ... Watched motorhead perform when I was 16 ... 60 now and me ears are still ringing...
Love the classic line-up of Motörhead! Rest in peace Eddie!
Saw him guest appeared on the 25th anniversary Motorhead tour at Brixton.
Definitely love the early stuff, especially with a bit of occasional whizz. It's an authentic touch haha. He evidently had a constitution for the fast stuff...
Rest well Eddie
England Forever always in my heart
Brilliant band and what a lovely headstone. Totally summed him up. Unique. And I loved the Christmas tree, the respect you showed by not saying who's grave it was on.
💜 Rest in peace Eddie... thank you for the great music. 💜
I remember hearing Ace Of Spades for the 1st time on television. Blew me away that a 3 piece outfit could make a brilliant sound. Wow. Now with Eddie's passing the iconic lineup of lemmy Eddie and Phil are reunited in Rock and roll heaven...Bless ya Eddie for all the classic music and entertainment you gave us over the years. Thankyou Paul for all your hard work in researching these celebrity names and final resting places. Look forward to the next one..Happy Christmas and wishing you all the best...The musical legacy left behind by motorhead will keep this iconic lineup alive for eternity...Thankyou.....
What a beautiful headstone. That golden guitatar for Eddie Clarke was amazing . Thankyou
Honestly, that's so lovely with the Christmas 🌲 tree there 💫
Lucky to have seen him in Dublin, Ireland, when Fastway supported Saxon in 2016
Just paying my respects to Fast Eddie by watching YOU visit his grave LOL Is that disrespectful of me??? I really don't have enough good words to describe how much I love Eddie. I love Lemmy and Philthy and Wurzel and Mikky D and all of the lads as well, but Eddie is one of the all time greats and insanely humble as a person too (especially when u consider his status as an 80's guitar hero and think about how much of a c**t he COULD have been, but wasn't!) Eddie Clarke and Steve Jones from the Pistols are the two most criminally-underrated rhythm guitarists of all time. Thanks for the tour, brother! Bigups, respect and love from Liverpool.
My brother and his best friend used to love Ace of Spades.
It reminds me of a holiday we went on with his best friend, and I used to fancy him. I’d picture him with his Motörhead hat on with headphones listening to Ace of Spades banging his head.
I wonder what ever happened to him?
It’s sad so many people who I grew up with are now dying.
Thank you, you brought back some lovely memories.
He’s probably out there somewhere wondering what ever happened to you 👍
Twickenham - I'm going to see Depeche Mode in June at Twickenham & July in Berlin 🎶. Thx for the great vid buddy. I remember you posting that pic of the Christmas tree 🎄 x
Amazing riffs and solos. Definitely the best era of Motorhead.
Rest in peace fast Eddie thanks for the music
Sadly I never got to see the classic lineup but I did see Motorhead quite a few times. RIP Fast Eddie, you gave me some of my favourite guitar riffs of all time.
I love my beautiful and great England
Eddie an motorhead cud rock epic in every way they sure were the ace of spades thanks alot gotta give them the credit they totaly deserve eddie will rock those pearly gates fast an furious thanks paul 👍👏👏👍🎅🎅
Looking forward to this one god bless you fast Eddie
Eddie as well as Phil and Lemmy where friends of mine , as you already know, from when I wrote a magazine and worked for the band. I was working the gig in NYC , when Eddie and lem had there spat , Eddie walked out , Lemmy looked at me and said , well I guess your playing tonight. But Eddie as a true professional came back and played the gig, he hung in until Brian from Lizzy took over. Eddie was and still is a good man , they all were and got on well. See you soon ed.
Great to hear cheers Paul 🙏
@@UnusualThings1 welcome , happy Christmas paul
R.I.P Eddie 🙏 so sad about the ending of his career, so much talent.. God bless.
Thankyou Paul, 😘
Another great video. My husband is a massive Motörhead fan, he’s seen them many times over the years. I was lucky enough to see them on their last tour at the Eden Project, so glad I did. Even though Lemmy was not well I wouldn’t have missed it. Shame all the best musicians are leaving us but at least we still have their great music.
Keep up the fantastic videos, have a great Christmas
Thank you for this Paul, I was on a bus one day going home in west london and overheard a man telling a very silly joke about who makes the holes in doughnuts to his nephew. Then he went on to say that people complaining about loud music on mobile phones know absolutely fuck all about volume, because the band he played for had been banned all over the place for being the loudest band ever. Then it clicked. We had a chat and I said yeah seen you 5 times, and he says hey I'm always around look me up etc. An absolute gentleman. Love and respect
Motörhead..soundtrack of my youth & I love them still..can’t believe they are all passed away, makes me feel blooming old. I had one chance to see a Motörhead concert when I was seventeen but I unfortunately had a bad accident a few days before I was due to go, knocked off my motorbike by a car & ended up with a fractured leg amongst other things, hence I didn’t make it, I’m still gutted to this day. Wishing you & yours a Christmas full of joy & peace 👍😎
Fastway did a soundtrack to a film called 'Trick or Treat' brilliant music and movie RIP Eddie. Keep up the good work Paul
Loved his soundtrack to trick or treat as fastway, but renowned for Motörhead rip
Another fantastic video Paul thank you for all the hard work you do to bring us these videos x
Legends never die!!!♥️🇬🇧♠️🤘🙏🙏🙏
❤❤ Thank you so much Paul for sharing this video. It is a shame that he died so young. May you rest in peace fast eddie. You are flying with the angels. ❤❤
I saw him live with Motorhead when I was 16...unforgettable 🖤
Thank you for all you do Paul. Inever got to see Motorhead allthough a life long fan. This is an excert from a booklet I wrote about being in an induced coma about two months after the great Lemmy passed away.
Got to meet Lemmy
This is the scariest and most upsetting part of the journey for me. As in my head, this
was very real. I had a strange feeling looking around rows of blurred people standing
behind the church pews from ground level in the cold and damp. Looking around the
church and then seeing Lemmy from Motorhead standing there, and I was thinking
what’s he doing here? He’s dead. Then seeing my lovely wife gliding across the floor in
a long white dress and thinking why is she here too? Then I realised
Am I dead???
I can remember feeling scared and upset, I don’t know why I had this dream, maybe I
was closer than I thought?
Keep up the good work Paul.
I saw Motorhead several times in the seventies and eighties and was in the audience when they recorded No Sleep Till Hammersmith No question of the the greatest rock bands this country has ever produced The Line up of Lemmy Fast Eddie Clarke and Filthy Phil Animal Taylor is the definitive Motorhead line up Well done Paul for visiting both Eddie and Phil`s last resting places Maybe one day if your in LA you can visit Lemmy`s for us I like to think the boys are in rock and roll heaven now To quote a line from Ace Of Spades "thats the way I like it baby I dont want to live forever"
God bless you Eddie for all you gave to us. Guitar headstone...totally appropriate.
Beautiful headstone! Loved the Christmas tree as well. Hats off to the ones who did that.
Very much liked watching this episode, being an old music lover. Always like to watch stuff on musicians. Especially those who are no longer with us.
Cheers
-Jerry
RIP Eddie. Thanks for the wonderful music. Thanks Paul.
Awesome video Paul... I have seen Motorhead at Download a few times. All members so sadly gone now.
My first concert I ever went to was motorhead at Liverpool university march 1990, it was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life in fact I still have tinnitus to this day
Very interesting
good musician
RIP Eddie
Met Eddie once in Dublin When he was with Fastway The world waits for you tour. Absolute Gentleman
Rest in peace fast Eddie and what a lovely headstone with a guitar 🎸 🙏👼
Saw Motorhead first in late 70s at De Montfort Hall in Leicester and probably another dozen times. Amazing fast, loud and raucous heavy metal sound which nobody could match especially Lemmys gravelly voice!! RIP Eddie. 🙏
What a great headstone and the words on it. So rock and roll! I have seen Motorhead many years ago but even though i'm well into middle age, I am still too young to have seen them when Eddie was in the band.. Incidentally I believe Olympic Studios was in Barnes, which is only about five miles away from his grave.
Hi, way back in 1978 when motôrhead played my home town of Basingstoke, I after the show (which was loud and amazing) I gave Eddie my last 4 cigarettes, to which I shook his hand.
He was such a nice and pleasant guy.
I've had some good times at Motorhead gigs, and some bad ones (but that was Motorhead). It's so sad that many of my teenage heroes have past, but then I remember the line, "We don't want to live forever!". Life is to be enjoyed, and for some, that means it's a little shorter.
Legend.
Saw him on his last tour with Fastway.
Had the pleasure of meeting him.
Hi Paul 👋 l will be watching as always my friend. Greetings from very cold 🥶 Peterborough. Stay safe 🥰☃️⛄️🪦
Saw Them Twice in 81 San Francisco and Santa Cruz My First 2 of 11. It's Getting Scary I Am 61 Now And A Good Majority of Musicians And Bands In General I Grew Up With Are Gone So Much Talent On The Other Side
One of the first gigs I went to as fresh faced teenager was this line up of Motorhead. Really brilliant. So loud, I didn't think I was going to be able stand it. Thanks for posting this.
Great video Paul. Very sad that the 3 original band members are no longer with us. On a very separate topic, have you ever heard of the Dent Vampire's Grave? It's in Cumbria, if ever you're that way. A beautiful church and village. (Great pub too!) I first saw it many years ago, but only really noticed anything recorded about it on the internet until quite recently. Worth a look online if you get 5 mins 👍.
"R.I.P. "Fast Eddie" Thankyou For All The Music, "MOTORHEAD FOREVER"!!!!!!!🤟🤟🤟🤟
I am a fan of Motorhead. RIP Fast Eddie. He was great. I have all the cds. My favorite song of Motorhead is "Ace Of Spades."
Thinking about fast eddie today, January 10, 2023. Thank you for inspiring me to pick up the guitar!
Saw Motörhead at the Astoria London 1996,what a gig ,great vid & what a cool headstone!
Another cracking respectful video--saw Motorhead twice===came out deaf twice and yep an awsum band
Me and my mate went to see them in 1982 at Manchester, we drove there in my clapped out Reliant Regal 3 wheeler.
They where so loud my ears where whistling for over a week, brilliant times.
Hi paul, love the channel, thanks for visiting fast Eddie today. I will always remember seeing the classic motorhead line up in the early 80's, I've seen hundreds of bands before and since but none came anywhere near as loud as motorhead they were insanely loud and brilliant.
Omg his headstone is amazen thanks paul big hug 😎👍👍👌👏👏🎅🎅
Another ace video....thanks Paul....have a magical christmas, all the very best to you and yours :) x
Just addicted to your videos Paul. I love how compassionate you are and again I always love how you touch the headstones as a mark of respect to the deceased person. Class
Cheers Paul 🙏
What a guitarist, he could make that guitar sing..........Rest in peace Eddie, Phil and Lemmy miss you all.
Beautiful headstone.very nicely done Paul, xmas tree grave took some doing,
I saw Motorhead in 2013 in Birmingham supported by punk band the Damned Eddie and Phil appeared on stage with Motorhead that night great show.
Another great video, thank you. I never knew Fast Eddie was there so I'll pop down next week and say thank you "in person". That classic lineup was amazing but can't believe he left Motorhead 40 years ago! I'm old.
Thanks Paul for another interesting video. I loved Motorhead x
What a great guitar player sadly missed what a great part of heavy rock history I would have loved to meet him never the likes of him to be seen again
1 of my fav films as a teenager was trick or treat & FASTWAY were the music in it. Awesome guitarist ❤
As much as i love the mighty Motorhead, i have to say that when i saw that band it was sadly after Eddie had left. But, i have to add that i really loved (and still do) Eddie's post Motorhead band Fastway. The music was in a different vein, but their 'Waiting For The Roar' album is absolutely amazing! I was totally blown away when i first bought it. Come to think of it, it still blows me away 36, or so, years later. A true classic imo. RIP Eddie 🤟
Thank you. Love rock music. Christmas tree was awesome. Never seen one in a cemetery before. Playing music in heaven forever.
hi paul my brother is a big fan of motorhead remember him playing them in the 80s not a heavy metal fan myself l liked couple of tracks ace of spades l liked for some reason beautiful headstone lovely tribute.
