Looks like a good winter project Joe. The weather got crazy here. Mid 50s today. I got out and did three DroneBase Panos. Got it down to 1o minutes each. Rain back tomorrow. Applebees today for Mac and Cheese. SAR practice with the Fire Dept next Saturday.
Want to see the video of the Fire Dept flights! Yes too cold even for me to fly here! We too hit 50 last week but major storms!

@@VideoDrone it's too bad you never carried through with this 😞 but all the same it's extremely easy to install $35 pwn Gimbels and get pitch controls as well as run GoPro Hero 3 4 5 6 and 7 on third-party aftermarket gimbal setup. The ghost drone was a complete failure all around I ended up just checking mine in the trash because it was so horrible
Very good project Joe, I changed my HDMI cable which just plugs into a relay that is attached to the under side of the board. Be careful taking out the board though. I will be waiting on the next video.
I hear swapping the cable and removing the board is a bit time consuming?
It doesn't take long at all providing you take your time removing the board. There are two rows of pins that connect the top board with the bottom section.
Cant wait to see the next video this is interesting for sure.

It's a micro hdmi on other end( plugging into imx6, companion computor),you can get a very flexible hdmi cable from relish( either long enough to run the whole way, or just a short cable which can tie with connector to lengthen it the rest to reach.

Hi, great innovation! Where did you buy the ghost 3-axis gimbal? That's cost effective. The GoPro 3-axis gimbal is so expensive. And have you finally got it running? Hope to hear from you.

Heck bro I did like 6 videos with third-party aftermarket gimbals Where Have You Been herb? Lol
I think, but I am not totally sure, that the guys who used other storm32 setups were able to connect through the accessory port to get paddle control working. There is discussion about this on 3drpilots.com and the Facebook group Solo mods. My understanding is limited, but they were able to get better results with heartbeat disabled.
I know if you change the controller (green cube) this is a possibly (I have not) but will check out for phase two :-)
Question with the usb cable attached to the Camera that is going to make the Gimbal pointless right because of it holding it in place i am just thinking on how touchy they are i have videos where the Gimbal from the Ghost caused my Bird to crash do you think it would be the gimbal or the Ghost Flys perfect without gimbal crazy i know Thanks for sharing i subbed and liked
Thanks for subing! Yet I am not sure I am tracking the question? (he usb cable attached to the Camera that is going to make the Gimbal pointless ) . I am also interested to how the gimbal caused the ghost to crash, can you share?
He means, making the gimbal useless, having the mini HDMI cable connected to the camera. He wants to know if it'll have limited mobility just like a gopro
Brother Chris we established that the ghost drone gimbal was the cause of the problem however the real issue was that they never put a voltage regulator to cap the power going to the gimbal which was causing it to overheat while it was connected to the ghost drone. Once it started to overheat it would cause the bird to fly absolutely bonkers lol you and me found out firsthand what happens
