Oddly there are occasions where parties concerned with theft and criminal damaged have returned “innocently” to commercial sell their services/products to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Standard recovery scam. Although, perhaps not by flying a drone over a premises - but scammers will try new angles on anything to scam. The best way to stop this sort of thing happening is if you ping me your bank details 😅
It amazes me that security always tell DJ things like “yeah there’s a lot of money on site” or “we got robbed last night”… so they think he’s a threat but also give him info 😂
"Someone broke into that building over there, yeah that one, the first floor, where we keep all our money, you see the back door can be kicked in easily, and it's not alarmed, that's how they get in, we want to put up CCTV cameras, but head office hasn't approved them yet . . . that's why we don't want you filming" 😂
Amazing how the police have time to come out for a lawful activity yet i had my van broke in and tools stolen which has also happened similarly to my friends and they didn't have any one to attend 😕
Bunch of muppets. I used to work for Speedy at their head office in Haydock, they're the worst company I've ever worked for and everyone is miserable who works there. Loads of managers doing absolutely nothing and getting paid too much.
Love it when you’re just doing a normal video, then turn into detective DJ, first that guy in a previous video that was being detained by police and now trying to piece together this theft 👍🤣
Amazing that Speedy know the power of UA-cam so much that they sponsor some channels but think that someone with a channel they don't support isn't allowed to create content.
Great video and the cops were brilliant on this! Good points raised as well, DJ, regarding the break-in the previous night and that fact that drones wouldn’t ‘cause a robbery to be enacted’! This is because Google Earth, Google Maps and the Google Street Car already exist and all three have already photographed the area extensively from outside and above - so drones shouldn’t be an issue! Good work.🌞🌞🌞
How dare you assume the gender. They were lawless though - playing their chimes for 42 seconds rather than the legal limit of 12 seconds, and playing the tune twice rather than legal limit of once per street.
The situation was handled thoughtfully, given the circumstances. A recent theft would naturally make any commercial site more cautious, especially about unexpected activity around their perimeter. It’s great to see that someone on-site kiboshed in to clarify things before tensions escalated, and it seems like DJ managed to strike the right balance - keeping everyone reassured and cooperative while still capturing the content and drone footage needed. That kind of situational awareness and diplomacy can really make a difference in situations like these - and much better viewing!
"There's a lot of work being done in the background - Dave's almost finished the crossword and Paul's almost beat his highest score on Tetris. Ooo... Ice Cream!"
So there was a fuel theft last night but he doesn't want you to get into trouble even though he doesn't care what you do, and that was after the first moron stated that he thinks you need permission to fly over their site but then wasn't sure !! Both men were suffering with 'making it up as you go' there's a lot of that going around these estates you know !!
7:50 So a crime has happened. This is a day later. And he thinks it appropriate to call the police. He obviously doesn't think its a crime to fly over, but because of the crime the night before he calls the police. Wasting police time. Criminals might revisit if they see that security hasn't been increased, but they won't make themselves obvious, they'd do it the same way they broke in the previous time, ie. at night. Sometimes I think people who say they will call the police need to be told that they need to be sure because if things go south then they can be charged or the company sued. So they just need to make absolutely sure of their facts rather than just blindly follow what they perceive is policy.
I'm no expert, but I am pretty sure that criminals reconnoitre the targets of their crimes BEFORE the crime, not 24 hrs later! Speedy are clearly recruiting geniuses that are happy to waste Police time and tax payers money (just like the Police).
Do you think that the defibrillator sign would be better placed on the inside of the gate as nobody can see it where it is as the gate is left open all day and when the gates are closed nobody can get access to it
Nicely handled DJ. They might be at less risk of theft if they got the council to maintain the footpath and cut back all of the undergrowth that’s totally blocking it. Might give the CCTV a fighting chance of seeing what’s going on 🙄 Tetchy staff but police were sound 👮🏼♂️👍🏼😊
Good policing work on your part. I would have been very tempted to have sought out that security (Snitch) guard with the bottle top glasses to ask him exactly what his company were going to do to clean up the diesel spillages? Once again Detective DJ, a really good video. 4 stripes for you!!!!!! Excellent!!!
Good source of business, especially out of season. Just park up outside a large business and suddenly a large number of customers appear. Beats spending hours on some seafront where you might get one customer an hour.
In Germany the whole place would have been decontaminated of diesel by the fire brigade including the soil and Speedy's insurance company would have had to cover the cost. England has become a s**thole. It disheartens me to look at pavements with weeds growing on them and litter strewn everywhere when I watch auditing videos from the UK.

With companies with hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of product on site I would expect a movement sensor system along with a security patrol and cameras that would trigger an immediate response even if it was to track the suspect vehicle.
Yeah I stole the fuel last night and thought I'd come back today to get myself arrested 😎
You couldn't resist the keyring...😂

Reminds me of a show I used to watch years ago. America’s dumbest criminals
Totally normal for thieves to comeback to film after stealing stuff 🤔

They do say they return to the place of the crime. But that might be just shoplifting 🙄👌🏴
Of course. It's what they do nowadays 😅😅

In this video, DJ Audits did 29 minutes and 34 seconds more investigation into crime than the police do.
Police were a credit to the uniform, well done fellas.
Normally I'd agree with you, but I automatically don't trust coppers who wear the 'thin blue line' badge.
A pair of ‘yes men’ they were.
The Match of the Day theme tune from the ice cream van added a nice comic touch...😊
So they think you've turned up to case the joint AFTER the crime has been committed. Geniuses!
That really stumped them when they were crying about a lot of theft and pointing out that they leave the barrier up

They didn't waste any time calling the Police, Speedy by name speedy by nature.
Try hiring something off them… not so speedy on occasion

How many hundreds of hours have the police squandered, driving out to watch someone legally flying their drone? Just staggering.
Decent interaction with the police. They were clued up and had common sense, which is sadly lacking in many new officers.
