  • In this video tutorial we will design Multiple configuration/sizes of one standard part using design table in Excel with configuration in SolidWorks. This video tutorial is very important considering industrial aspects. In Industries many times need arises to create standard sizes of a single part multiple times like for hexagonal nut. In that case we use Configurations, Design tables to do that.
For this video tutorial we need very basic knowledge of MS Excel. Microsoft Excel is a very important software considering all type of industrial aspects. This video is very important for all Students and aspiring designers.
The way sketching is done looks very complicated but is done to keep all the references and relations with other sketches and features.

Thank you. I learn some tricks in SolidWorks. But i was looking for Equations Parametric Modelling and make export excel linked to part who can change parameters in excel and model be change , Do you make tutorial for that? I'm grateful.

It is possible. It is similar to design table but using only one configuration.
I have a question. Do you want to use Excel inside SW or outside?

@@CADGill Thanks for responsiveness. I want use outside with relation between parts in assembly. I make design table and save that and then reopen from configurations tab for make link between file and model and even try to open two excel of two parts and make equal(=) in value i want make relation with another file and then select cell in that file. But I want know some professional details like what you say in this video. Like functions who is useful in design and the way to use them, and make short way to link excel and part like that i say reopened, and other things. I find a job who want me for design parametric who when change value in excel, Change whole assembly. But I'm just started and need learn that soon as possible.
Also sorry for language and be long my comment.
