I watch Bhadipa videos to learn&improve my Marathi since I live in Pune now. Also it helps me to teach my kids on their Marathi lessons.. So far, i have been watching the comedy themes but this one really caught me by heart.. Though I have been only a visitor in US occasionally, I could relate this to my cousins and relatives living in US with family, where I have observed their 'missing home' sentiments during my visits to their residents .. Honestly I never understood why people choose to migrate in the name of "quality of life" thats selfish

It's is such beautifully made piece of cinema even though it's short film it could touch our emotions. I saw it multiple times and had teary eye everytime I watched. My husband who is a tamilian and doesn't understand Marathi could feel the emotions through the scenes and the subtitles . The cast and the acting was top notch . The story was so relatable and apt . The nuance like eating the faral as chakna, the accent and mannerism of kids, the emotional trauma while returning after handing over passport, using salt for rangoli etc . Kudos to the team .. I watch Bhadipa videos to learn&improve my Marathi since I live in Pune now. Also it helps me to teach my kids on their Marathi lessons.. So far, i have been watching the comedy themes but this one really caught me by heart.. Though I have been only a visitor in US occasionally, I could relate this to my cousins and relatives living in US with family, where I have observed their 'missing home' sentiments during my visits to their residents .. Honestly I never understood why people choose to migrate in the name of "quality of life" thats selfish

Very heart touching video and very Universal. I stay in Germany and the video resonated with me. The pain of being away from home, the childhood memories of celebrating diwali eith parents and friends, the 'faral' The emotions are just the same 😢. It's is such beautifully made piece of cinema even though it's short film it could touch our emotions. I saw it multiple times and had teary eye everytime I watched. My husband who is a tamilian and doesn't understand Marathi could feel the emotions through the scenes and the subtitles .
The cast and the acting was top notch . The story was so relatable and apt . The nuance like eating the faral as chakna, the accent and mannerism of kids, the emotional trauma while returning after handing over passport, using salt for rangoli etc .
