I visit Belarus regularly and since 2019 there is an online self registration system that simplified the process, especially if you are not using a hotel. Don’t forget to buy local health insurance at Minsk airport. It’s very cheap but convenient to buy at the airport. Great country with great people.

In Russia ana in Ukraine often situations when airports or railway station workers 0 at English. You can't live without Russian comfortably and with joy. That's absolutely truth, trust me. So....

I have a few questions if you dont mind.
    - I am Brazilian Citizen(living in Portugal) and I dont need a Visa to travel to Russia, How can I know if that will be the same in Belarus?
    - Can you get around speaking only English?
    - Do you need cash to pay for everything, they dont take credit or debit cards?
    - Can I stay there more than 30 days as a tourist?
    Best regards,

Tourists from the USA survive with English, it's not impossible to learn "hi, thanks, bye" in Russian.
Cards not from BY now work 70 per cent.

Cor I am halfway sold already, fairly fed up with the land of my birth being England, half Irish, half Scots and England has become in recent years a right sh*tehold imho, trouble is what would I do over there? My first barrier of my 2 year old child level of Russian might be an issue and whilst I possess many skills ranging from computers to mechanics, nursing to office work I have too many skills as I learn something new each day. I am a very broad speaking South Londoner but I feel my time here in the UK has worn out its welcome and I need pastures new. If I had the money I would just move into the exclusion zone, build my own hovel and eke my last years out with my cats and Russian watches hehe
