I WANTED TO SEE THE LIPSTICK YOU MADE!!! Anyway, not to be the nerd but I looked up before, why cats paw and kneed like that and it's really cute. They do that as kittens when they are nursing. It's like a comfort thing. They paw and kneed at their mom's body while they are being fed. It's Lumi's way of showing you her deep love and how you bring her comfort. SO SWEET! Great vlog as always, beautiful!

How exciting - making your own lipstick! Good for you! Lumi and or Cats in general do that when very young and nursing, that motion brings about milk from their Mothers. They say they continue when taken away from their mothers too early, but literally every cat I’ve ever had has done that, so who knows if that’s true. I think it relaxes them and they do it when feeling content and cozy. 💄😽
That first outfit with the silk shorts, it actually looked so cool! Very "I just threw this on" but it actually looks amazing! + the Tory Burch dress looks super chic!! + your make-up and hair up for the Balmain party looked absolutely fab!!!! My cat also does that with her paws, we call it "pushy pushy" as I don't know the technical term but I was told it is a comforting method they use when they have been taken away from their mothers too early. We rescued my cat as she was abandoned so she definitely wasn't around her mother long.x
Kelly M its called kneading. Cats do this as kittens when there nursing, it helps produce the milk. They say if a adult cat is kneading your lap it shows there happy :-)
Pedigree cats like bengals don’t leave their mums usually till they are 4 months old , the mother will have stopped feeding them herself by then of her own accord , it’s something that all cats do

Loomy your cat loves you. She "kneads" (making biscuits) on you to show that you belong to her, and they do that to their moms when they are nursing. You could put a polaire blanket to protect yourself from her painful grips. 😁

Cats do that motion with their paws, because they feel safe and comfortable with you. Basically, it stems from how they would get milk from their mum as a kitten, so when they feel in that same safe way, they do it. It's super sweet, means she loves you lots :)

The cat kneading thing: they do it because when they are young that motion on the mother's stomach triggers milk production, which they associate with love and comfort. It follows cats into adulthood in moments when they feel calm and nurtured by their owners or other animal companions. My old roommate's cat use to do it to me all the time, drove me nuts but I guess it meant she liked me! lol

You should try softclaws on Lumi. My friend has them on the cat to stop her from damaging furniture and delicate fabrics. They're little caps that go over their natural claws that fall out naturally as their outer claw sheds!

All of the cats I've ever had do the kneading thing too. I've read that it's something they do for comfort. They do it to their mom's fur when they suckle as kittens, but sometimes they carry on with the behavior as they grow. It's supposed to be affectionate, I guess.

Lydia, feed Lunie on a flat plate or a wider bowl. She might not like her whiskers touching the bowl when she eats and that could be why she drags her food out to eat it. Cats are weird like that.
