The Florida Pool was built for Esther Williams and was seen in the movie "Easy to Love" She worked at Cypress Gardens in the movie. And she swam in that pool. Lots of waterskiing in that movie. Loved combining Tim's video with yours. I hope you go back there again. That was amazing. I went to Cypress Gardens in the early 70's and it was still a beautiful garden. And that tree was there. I'm so glad it's still there.
I once bought one of my kids a Lego death star with moving parts, try putting one of those together with your kids running around saying are you done yet.
The Esther Williams swimming pool....you used to be able to go under the pool where they made underwater shots of Esther swimming~ I remember this well from when it was Cypress Gardens. Thanks for the memory.
The "Esther Williams Swimming Pool" was built in the shape of Florida, projecting out in Lake Eloise, as a set for MGM technicolor movie "Easy to Love" (1953) which was partly filmed at Cypress Gardens.
Fun fact, I did that roller coaster coastersaurus 85 times in a row when the park was still cypress gardens. It use to be called the triple hurricane. I helped raise $3000 dollars for make a wish and we had a deal with cypress gardens for every thousand we raised we'd ride the ride for an hour. After 30 minutes you become lethargic.
When you think about the size of a single LEGO brick, that place is AMAZING!!!! GREAT vlog, I really, really enjoyed that. I have always been a LEGO fan! Thank you, Adam!
Good work, what is funny is a friend of mine and I were talking just a day or two ago about the term different countries use for Lego. Us Brits have always used the term Lego bricks or brick, where as you guys seem to use the term blocks or lego's
Wow! Lego land looks like a lot of fun, and that tree was too cool! Thanks Adam, you made me excited about taking my niece and nephew next year. I know they will have a blast.
totally enjoyed this vlog tonight. Tim and Jen rock. glad you showed us Lego land -I'll never get there but now I have had a virtual guided tour -appreciated :) and what cool tree !!! and the guide talking really fast at the eye in the sky made me laugh !!
Yay I clicked remnants of Cypress Gardens. Our trip this summer was to do this exactly & now with no travel I get to watch my idea, your idea here! Can't wait. Thanks!
Another incredible vlog! I learned a lot and laughed even more! I've got another favorite! Just when I think they can't get any better....Adam the Woo pulls it off!!
I enjoyed the vlog of your visit to LEGOLAND. It's a lot nicer than I thought and I would enjoy some time there looking at all of the displays. My granddaughter has been wanting to go there. I will tell her about this vlog. She will be excited to see it. Have a nice day.
Adam, thanks for all the awesome vids and your diligence in uploading them so promptly. I watched this vlog and since Tim was in it, I went to watch his vid afterward to get more of my Woo fix..and he has yet to upload it. I swear that guy is slackin' ... Get on it, TimTracker!!!
Excellent Vlog, especially having the Trackers part of it. And yesterday with Micah at Epcot. Truly enjoy all your great Videos. Adam hope you have a great day n Weekend too
n Million Dollar Mermaid (1952), Esther Williams portrayed Annette Kellermann, a real-life Australian swimming and diving star. Williams co-starred with Victor Mature, who played Kellermann's husband and manager, James Sullivan. The two engaged in a passionate affair during filming. Williams often called this her favorite film, and named her autobiography after it.[50] Williams also won the Henrietta Award at the 1952 Golden Globes, for World Film Favorite - Female.[51] Easy to Love (1953), also with Van Johnson, was filmed on location in Cypress Gardens, where a swimming pool in the shape of the state of Florida had been built specifically for the film.
I love Legoland! spent a lot of time in Legoland California since we lived near Carlsbad for 3 years! Even had an annual pass for a while. Haven't been to the FL one yet so it's awesome to see all the differences! Hope to get there some day!
WHAT?! how am I supposed to know it's coming to a close without "....Vlog Over." It was so abrupt. My tender tender heart! Loved it anyway Adam! Cheers
Hey Adam the WOOO. Two fun facts... the shot going under the train tracks in the beginning.. the boom from my father in laws grove truck stuck the top an you can still see the marks as you were going under. Also the stand you said was a fruit stand... was actually the steals from a steal home model. They just removed the house but left the base .. lol
That pool shaped like Florida was my aunt that past this years day favorite thing about the old cypress gardens. Mine was drinking a frosty root beer and the ski show.
Great video Adam, at the openings of your videos you always say this is my second channel. But your first channel you haven't uploaded on in months. Why don't you change it to make this your main channel and call the other one your second channel?
Morning Adam, Great Vlog! You mentioned Full House at 7:33, did you hear that the creator of Full House bought that has for 4 million for an Anniversary filming. Take care!
Lego Bricks. Inside the Legoland resort hotel there's a restaurant called "Bricks." Pretty cool place with some hidden away history to explore. Was there in July
Lego land in Florida does it have a Lego land hotel like the one in San Diego? And Adam when you plan to revisit California maybe you and your buddies could go the San Diego Lego land.
There is one of these things that festooned into the air in De Efteling in the Netherlands. I think you would love that park. It has one of the best dark rides I've been on.
my family went to legoland a few weeks ago when we was on vacation. my son loved it. i expected it to be a lot bigger. the lego displays were amazing but the rest of the park was a little under whelming.
Adam will be at Disney Springs or Magic Kingdom on Sunday (12/4/2016) my new job is flying me to Orlando in the morning and it would be the Christmas gift to meet you!
I had my picture taken when I was a little boy in the early 80's, in front of that Banyan tree, when it was formerly Cypress Gardens, with a beautiful Southern Belle girl that worked there :-)
thanks for showing this. that canyon tree was there in 72 when I was there. on the way to Cyprus Gardens my cousin's grandma took us to a Tupperware factory were we went on a tour. Is Silver Springs still around? I Loved the fact that Johnny Weissmuller did his Tarzan movies there
Nesta Jarrett No, They closed Silver Springs years ago. The state bought and turned it into a state park. They found homes for all the animals. They just closed wild waters this year. Nothing in Ocala anymore.
Pretty surreal. My grandfather used to have a house in winter haven right on the lake the cypress gardens was on. Used to travel there once a year from Philadelphia. Haven't been there in years, but legoland looks pretty cool.
I remember Cypress Gardens when we lived in Ocala Florida back in the 1970's.....I can't believe all our memories are being erased........"from existence"
I always loved Cypress Gardens, haven't been to Legoland yet. Need to go... did you know that the Florida pool was built for a movie in the early 50's called Easy to Love? They decided to continue using it once the movie was done.
Cypress Gardens is still there. It's protected by the state and Legoland is REQUIRED to take care of it as part of their deal when they purchased the park.
LOL the lego guys are cool (youtuber ones 3:40 You need a Carpetbagger one too would be awesome and how did ya get the youtube ppl one can ya buy them now?)
I found videos of Dick Pope walking across that old bridge and also that Florida shaped pool was actually repurposed and filled with legos at one point.
I like your singing. Don't listen to what anyone tells you. Just be your goofy self that's all that matters. Give the haters something to complain about. They are just jealous. 😇🤗😘☺️🤗
How awesome would it be if Adam used a stop motion app to make a daily vlog of his Lego self visiting one of these sights? When R2D2 was talking I immediately had Def Leopard's Love Bites in my head.
The most important trivia you didn't mention, the Go-Go's filmed the waterskiing portion of their video for Vacation in Cypress Gardens. Well, not them actually, but body doubles who worked at Cypress Gardens at the time.
Adam the Woo's wild Lego safari kingdom.
I like it

I remember going to Cypress Gardens with my grandparents when I was a kid, really neat so see some of that area again. Thanks, Adam!
I have fond memories of Cypress Gardens. I'm glad to see some of the original landscaping is still there.
The Esther Williams swimming pool....you used to be able to go under the pool where they made underwater shots of Esther swimming~ I remember this well from when it was Cypress Gardens. Thanks for the memory.
That was the Aquarama pool.
The "Esther Williams Swimming Pool" was built in the shape of Florida, projecting out in Lake Eloise, as a set for MGM technicolor movie "Easy to Love" (1953) which was partly filmed at Cypress Gardens.

Legos is an American phrase. It is called Lego or Lego bricks.
Yes that is true :)
Yep, in England we call it Lego, not Legos.
Hello Penny, I'm from Denmark and you are right...It's pronounced Lego.

I'M GONNA FALL IN THE WATER!

You guys look like you had a blast at Legoland. The ride with the half pipe and horses, reminds me of the Dizzy Disc ride at Dollywood.
Lego Bricks. Inside the Legoland resort hotel there's a restaurant called "Bricks." Pretty cool place with some hidden away history to explore. Was there in July

Loved the video, amazing how much they have left behind
There is one of these things that festooned into the air in De Efteling in the Netherlands. I think you would love that park. It has one of the best dark rides I've been on.
Yes, but this is the only one in the U.S.
Remember Adam - don't pay the Ferryman, don't even set a price, don't pay the ferryman, until he gets you to the other side!
My 12 yr old grandson would live there in Legoland if he could. May the Lego force be with you.
I have to be the only Floridian that has never been to Cypress Gardens.
That's okey, I am the only Coloradan who has never been to Casa Bonita.
my family went to legoland a few weeks ago when we was on vacation. my son loved it. i expected it to be a lot bigger. the lego displays were amazing but the rest of the park was a little under whelming.
Adam will be at Disney Springs or Magic Kingdom on Sunday (12/4/2016) my new job is flying me to Orlando in the morning and it would be the Christmas gift to meet you!

LEGO means "Play Well" in Danish. In fact, Adrian Jones the General Manager of Legoland Florida, signs off his emails with "Play Well."
I always loved Cypress Gardens, haven't been to Legoland yet. Need to go... did you know that the Florida pool was built for a movie in the early 50's called Easy to Love? They decided to continue using it once the movie was done.
Oh wow! I drive down Cypress Gardens to go to my little Winter Haven place!
Love Adam! Don't love Tim & Jen. But I'm watching anyway.
OMG!! That was hilarious! I want to go there!! Miss the old Cypress Gardens though.
Cypress Gardens is now Legoland?!? Florida is dead to me.
I think it was more that Cypress Gardens closed and Legoland bought the land. It was a whole ordeal.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypress_Gardens
Cypress Gardens is still there. It's protected by the state and Legoland is REQUIRED to take care of it as part of their deal when they purchased the park.
My parents filmed that pool and their visit to Cypress on their honeymoon in the '60's. Pretty cool looking back then.
happy friday, Adam!
LOL the lego guys are cool (youtuber ones 3:40 You need a Carpetbagger one too would be awesome and how did ya get the youtube ppl one can ya buy them now?)
