Could be the coolest setup I have ever seen in a private home collection. Very cool. I can only wish to one day have something like it. Incredible. The best part is you can tell the animals are just as happy as they can be . Great job
completely amazing! You really suggest you incorporate at least one Nepenthes plant in your setup! A nepenthes from the lowlands. Congrats on your basement
I am at a complete loss for words I subscribed because of the caiman videos than saw my dreams unfold into your basement haha I love the channel keep posting for sure!!
Op de foto's is te zien dat er onder de serre dus ook nog een kelder met vijver ed gebouwd is? Jammer dat het niet in de video is meegenomen, had er graag wat meer van gezien.
francis F Ehh nope? This is common in The Netherlands, just a little.creativity, my Uncle build a small greenhouse in his backyard, €2000, where you can find the following animals: Spectacled Caimans, iguana's, lizards, and 3 parrot types, dont always think about money, if you got an idea just do it.
Yes they do. Bevore this enclosure many years together in an other enclosure. I would not reccomend everyone to do it. Its about enough space and the right species.
the problem with a project like this is that its too controlled, the flaws in the ecosystem come out after a while. im sure you've encountered them also how do you clean it? its all enclosed whats the smell like?
This is not our first projects. We also have 2 other enclosures like this (1/3 of this size) that work fine for 10/15 years. The smell is from the flowers that grow there and the high humidity. Very nice smell. The only problem we had in the past is that wood and bamboo rot away in a small period of time. We have learned from that. So everything is now stones or plastic. The water is filtered with a very high tech system. And bacteria are killed with uvc light. The oldest lizard we have in here is 19/20 years old. He lives here for 15 years and my boyfriend had him for 19/20 years from when he was a baby.
Your dedication to your pets is unreal.
Absolutely incredible. You built paradise.

Wait... All those reptiles in that video live in one same Enclosure?? o.O

And ofcourse we have an air system.
Its the same as with a frog paludarium or most "bioactive" terrarium. You cant clean it like you clean your house.
