This is so true, I remember my younger sibling would ask to skip extra curriculars a lot because they “didn’t feel good” but they weren’t even sick, and once I asked to skip and extra curricular because it was three hours long and I had a ridiculous amount of homework, and my parents were very angry Edit: after much convincing they did let me stay home, Ik I have a hard time focusing on my homework so I understand why they didn’t trust me lol, I love them a lot it just felt unfair since my sibling skipped so often.
